Product Description Argentinian filmmaker Nicolas Entel does something very different in looking at the legend that is Pablo Escobar. Entel focuses on the life of his son, Sebastian Marroquin, and his attempts to come to grips with all the hideous karmic wreckage inflicted by his malevolent father. It is the story of difficult reconciliation where the desire for revenge in countries racked by by ethnic and religious strife is almost an everyday occurance. Riveting!! Review This is a HBO premiere Dcoummentary. The film was released internationally in 2009 and also to Sundance Film Fest 2010 where it was nominated for Grand Jury Prize ( World Cinema) and the Miami Film Festival 2010 where it won Audience Award and Grand Jury Prize. Brilliant and hard-hitting. --Maya Entertainment.

Tells the story of Pablo through his son.
I really enjoyed reading this book. Iโve watched Narcos and the book tells the story of what really happened through his sonโs eyes.

I loved it
I also just read the book written by Pablo Escobarโs son. It really is heartbreaking that this poor man truly had his life torn to shambles from no actions of his own. I hope his future continues to be a healing and positive experience. I also hope he receives many blessings for all of the pain he has suffered.

One of the greatest documentaries I ever watched.
I cannot emphasize enough how great this documentary is. It makes you think a lot about what justice and forgiveness means, and simply how much damage drugs and organized crimes can do to a society. It is such a pity that I found it only now - I must have watched it much earlier.

Hello Juan Pablo Escobar and family
I was hoping there was more information, more about how Juan Pablo Escobar FELT about his father, how his mother felt about his father-----now, and maybe WHY his sister has disappeared completely ?... To believe that Juan and the sons of the 2 other famous fathers share no negative feelings towards each other would be so ABNORMAL-------do you really think we are that ignorant ?! Believe me there are feelings but I am happy if the Escobars' have been able to find some sense of peace about the past for we all do deserve that very much!! Also how much money do the Escobars make from the current regime in Colombia from cocaine business ? yeah there has to be something... BTW do you realize how many people die each year in the USA from cocaine ? how many others lives it destroys ?? if you wanna really do something worthwhile why not try to help those people and their families...

Well made documentary on a unique aspect of Escobar's life.
Fascinating look into Escobar's family and their part in his exploits. Perhaps more fascinating is the way his son, Juan Pablo (Sebastian) viewed his father then and now with no real change. The only change was his view of the victims and his redemption which was amazing to witness. Also his courage to face his father's victims' children and vice versa. My favorite part was an eloquently written letter by Sebastian. Highly recommended if you are old enough to remember this notorious drug kingpin or the new generation who only woke up to this story thanks to Narcos on Netflix ;)

Touching
I thought this documentary was well done. It was touching to see these grown men act mature about a horrible situation. They chose to use peace to end a feud that could've gone terribly wrong had Sebastian used his fathers methods. He reached out and they took his hand. They are a shinning example of peace among men.
