Love this one too. Wow I bought this for my 3 year old niece and it will end up being enjoyed by my 1 yr old nephew. Though my brother (their dad) spent most of the time putting it together with much enthusiasm I must say, the kids absolutely loved it. The pieces fit together perfectly and the cars so far run amazingly. I got the tunnel and bridge one to go with this set to give them extra track and more stuff and it was so much fun the play with. Also I wanted to say that they had the magic tracks on sale at our local grocery store and I bought one set of those. The tracks were identical to these but the car wasn't near as good. It ran pretty good mind you but it didn't seem to have the stamina that these cars have and it wouldn't go around the loop at all. The cars from this set kept running into the car from the magic tracks set. So love the tracks and love the cars that came with this brand. I will definitely be buying more for her birthday in February to add to her tracks.

Were the option available, I would triple the FIVE STAR rating for this toy, not only for its entertainment value but for all of the thought that went into designing it. I gave this to my 5 year old grandson for Christmas, knowing his 7 y. o. brother would probably play with it, too. Both the boys dropped everything, once Twister Trax was opened. It thrilled them so much that before long every adult present had to see the first track lay-out and the cars do the loop, while the lights flashed, and moved, and glowed and changed. Stimulation was peak. Then at nightfall, all the adults had to enter the darkened room to see it all again as the intensity of the flashing, moving, glowing and changing lights just hiked up the excitement all the more. There is a feeling of marvel and mystery as to how the cars can do the loop and not fall off. (This is still true 2 weeks after Christmas!). Their hands instinctively reach toward the loop to catch the car, anticipating it to fall when it slows down. In a way, playing with this outfit is much like the excitement children feel when they go to the County Fair and are mesmerized by all the colored lights and movement in the environment. The packaged bag in which to carry the cars and track parts is marvelous. They can quickly and easily relocate play without scattering pieces. The ease of track connections and intuitive switches on the cars removes frustration in play. The amount of flashing and moving colorful light is a sight to see. The toy is built with "little hands" in mind. It is flexible, tough enough, thick enough and colorful enough to keep hands, minds and eyes engaged. The cars are wonders on wheels but a reminder to treat them like a very special toy would probably be appropriate and worth repeating early in ownership. The cars may be able to be treated roughly, but my adult mind thinks some caution is appropriate. I had reason to contact Mindscope regarding a warranty question and I have seldom met with such timely communication and kind response. I was as impressed with Mindscope as I was with the toy. Adults, this toy will bring you joy just seeing how much fun you have given the child who receives it. As giver, you will be in a win-win situation! I am planning to soon expand this set with optional parts. Why? You cannot buy joy, but you can pay for it....

Bought my three-year-old for Christmas and it was his favorite gift for about one day. All the ratings are correct and all the cars broke after the first day. Wheels spun but they would not drive on the track. HOWEVER, I contacted Mindscope and they send my son six brand-new cars without a proof of purchase simply by emailing them on their website. They did the right thing and all six cars still work, still in March.

My 6 year old loves it!! It makes them think critically and creatively. While keeping them occupied. I highly suggest this toy for future builders. My husband is a mechanic and does all kind of projects around the house for me and this is giving my son the beginning skills to help dad!! A great buy for the price. It came on time and all parts were there. I even received a nice note from the seller. Great customer service!

I just let me son open this as his gift and 1 of the cars isn't working. Its been less than 30 minutes. Seems like the car's gears and wheels aren't catching, letting it ride the track. He loves the track and the car that is working, but for the price of this toy and the fact that we just opened it, I am very disappointed. Seems like they don't make quality toys anymore. I see I can buy additional cars for an additional price, but why should I have to? We are stationed outside of the country, so by the time the car makes it here, it will be weeks from now. I have a sad 4 year old.UPDATE: Seller is sending a new car ASAP. AMAZING customer service. I am very happy because my son does love this race track and is so excited to be getting another working car. Great customer service is rare nowadays, thank you!

Kids just love this my granddaughter played with a little boy that had this set and she asked me to buy her one. I recommend if you have more then one kid to buy additional cars.

I'm having the same problem as many people on this list. The toy is a ton of fun. I love the concept, and we've had a lot of fun draping the tracks over different surfaces and shapes. My son love is. However, after just about an hour of use, one of the cars no longer turned on. If you depress the button on the top, it would go for as long as you hold down the button, but doesn't stay on when you let up. I returned the first set and ordered a replacement. Within a half-hour, this time, one of the cars (it was the green one in both sets, for some reason) stopped moving on the track. I picked it up and realized that the rear wheels had come loose on the axle, so the axle spins but the wheels don't go anywhere. The same car broke in 2 different ways, each within an hour of taking them out of the box. There are obviously some quality control issues here. It's very disappointing, as the idea of the product is very cool, and my son and I both loved playing with it while it lasted. I'm leaving this at 3 stars for now, because their haven't been any problems with the track, but it really is kind of useless without cars that will hold up for any amount of time.

Just received this product friday and the car only last about 20 minutes and then dies out.

This would have been a great set if the pieces for all of the loop continued to stay together and didn’t break so soon. They became uneven to where it was impossible to fix them and then the cars couldn’t race through the loop anymore. So to say I had a disappointed little boy. It’s very thin plastic tabs that clip together so it didn’t take much unfortunately

Cool gift. The track is awesome for my young children and well made. But the batteries run out very quickly in the cars and the buttons have already started glitching on them. They won't turn off, won't stay on, etc. I would recommend this but be aware of the car situation. Otherwise we love it! So much fun and my kids went crazy for it. Would like to get some new cars so we can continue to enjoy it.

Came with 2 cars , one broke right away. Disappointing since it was a gift to someone and child was dissapointed that car broke :(Cool tracks though, bendable and fun to put together.
