It has the consistency of a beach towel and a good burst of wind will be off the door step. The pictures make it look like it has a thick heavy rubber base. It is so light weight the mail man was able to fold it up and stick in my mail box.. and when I say mailbox it is one of those small community mailboxes.

Very disappointed. The mat is beautiful but after a few weeks, it has no color. Do not recommend.

Nice looking mat out of the box, but started showing wear after about a month. The picture was taken at 3 months of outdoor use in a relatively low-traffic area. My welcome mats from Lowes and Home Depot have aged much better in higher traffic. The overwhelmingly positive reviews on this product are surprising to me. Maybe I received a rare bad mat.

This product deserves 0 STARS, but I'm giving it 1 STAR because that's the the lowest rating allowed.This product is horrible!After a few months' use, the mat began to develop black spots of mold, despite being used under our front porch overhang and not being exposed to the elements. I have always respected Mohawk for manufacturing high-quality rugs and mats. I am extremely disappointed with this mat, which had to be thrown away as black mold is dangerous and unsightly. I request a refund. I do not want a replacement mat because of the lack of durability and danger of black mold. I cannot recommend this product to anyone. I would have posted a photo of the damaged mat, but did not want potential customers to see how horrible these mats really are. Maybe this negative review will dissuade them from making the same mistake I did, buying a product from a long-time, respected manufacturer that did not hold up during short-term, light usage. DO NOT BUY!

I like this mat, however after about a week it was severely faded and just keeps getting worse. Attached is a photo after only 2 months (but I looks like it's 2 years old).

I highly recommend not purchasing this product. It states all weather but the design only lasted about 2 months. It is a shame because clearly this company has not created a quality eco-friendly product. The mat only reads "welcome home and" and the "friends" and "family" words have already faded. Back to the drawing board. Again, terrible product.

A new welcome mat works wonders for sprucing up a tired front stoop, and a mat as lovely as this one fits the bill while making a statement. The warm, masculine earth-tones and the driftwood pattern make the mat appear more "organic" or "earthy" than the raw materials (recycled rubber) suggest. In addition, the unique font reading "Welcome" greets your guests while adding visual interest. So far, the elements have not impacted this mat. In fact, I have not (yet) noticed any fading over the six months the mat has been in use; my previous mats showed fading within months, due to the direct sunlight my front stoop receives.When it comes time to replace this mat, I will certainly consider another of the Mohawk Home "Doorscapes" products.

A thick, durable doormat true in color to the picture (sort of an understated aqua sage green-blue). I use mine outside as a welcome mat to our apartment entrance. It absorbs dirt very well—which is a good thing, since that’s kind of the point of a doormat—but it also can’t really be washed or vacuumed back to its original vibrant state once it gets too much dirt and grit in it from shoes (believe me, I’ve tried). Despite this, every year or so, I buy a fresh one, because it’s so pretty it’s totally worth it to me.

I love it, I've had it for a couple of months and have had no issues with the colour fading.It brightens up my entrance!
