I was skeptical when I opened it up and saw how thin it is. I didn't think it was going to be much use as anything except a light throw but I was pleasantly surprised. With the ceiling fan on High, two other fans blowing on me an the a/c down to 65 deg sleeping just in light shorts, I was comfortably warm for the 3 nights I tested it. In fact I usually wake up around 2:30 am regularly and all 3 nights when I woke up I was a little sweaty. I'm going to use this as an under-quilt for my hammock in spring and fall, maybe with another for winter along with a nice synthetic 0 deg mummy bag. I'll let you know how it goes.

My Mom introduced me to this blanket while on vacation in northern Michigan during a wet and cold trip. I decided this would be perfect for the fall months in Ohio while sitting on the patio. This does work perfect for that situation. The throw is the perfect size to either wrap up in or lay down in. An added bonus is our cats seem to love this blanket as well. What was really meant for an outside blanket for humans has also turned into a nice blanket for the cats during the winter months folding it up on the couch for them. Definitely worth the price in my opinion!

I ordered this as well as the Eddie Bauer throw of similar design. This throw blanket is larger than the Eddie Bauer and appears to be as warm with the same amount of fill material. This throw isn't packed to the gills with insulation, but so far so good.

Bought this for my mother as she often get cold here at home or when we are taking a road trip. I require it to be cold. This packs down small and light so she can easily travel with it. Also with the fact we have dogs the fact this is machine washable is fantastic. Remove the doghair and keeps the blanket fresh. She has not had any problems with losing any of the left. Fantastic purchase. Highly recommended.

Should be very useful for my upcomming overnight hikes.

My girlfriend has has cat allergies so I was looking for something like this that doesn't retain cat hair. This works perfect! Even if the cat lays on it we can just brush off the hair. Now we can all snuggle on the couch with this blanket, even the cat! Love it!

I borrowed it from a friend at a football game this fall. It was so warm! I got one for my parents as a gift for Christmas and I’m going to be getting one for myself.

Bought this for a little extra warmth on my bed. Just didn't work for me. Wasn't very warm. Very slippery and ended up on the floor in just a few minutes.
