It seems some reviewers are confused as to this product's intended purpose... it's not intended to be a magnetic body mount set, it's meant to be used as a guide for determining where body mounting holes must go.For that purpose it works great! I used it to locate holes on a pre-painted body I wanted to use on my TRX4. I put the red aluminum part on the bodypostt, positioned the body where I wanted it, and used my soldering iron with at tapered, pointed tip to melt a mounting hole in the body by putting the heated tip in the outer magnet's hole on each post.From there you can use that as a pilot hole and take it to the finished size with a drill bit, body reamer, or continue to melt the hole to size if your soldering iron tip is big enough.The set is kind of expensive, but I'll be able to continue to use it well into the future so I don't mind too much.I'm happy I bought it.

Not recommended for rock crawlers, or if you expect the body to stay on after touching anything stronger than grass. The magnets are very small and the post mounts don't pivot making a poor connection if the body is not completely flat. Did not come with instructions or mounting suggestions. I picked this higher priced item assuming it would have stronger magnets and I am disappointed.

The magnets are too small, I almost lost one of them. Would be nice if there are spare set. Otherwise, product is good.

Work great, but red part won’t fit on post of a T-MAXX, so it’s made for smaller rc posts.

Good way mounting rc body and fast

The mounts locators work well I just wish they came with extra magnets as they are very tiny and for the price we pay would be nice to have extras.
