Excellent quality fabrics, materials and overall item and brilliant value for money!I purchased a left splint in a small size. My wrist measured 17cm exactly; I think it is a little swollen due to the sprain or strain (not sure what damage I've caused to it). It fits very nicely and definitely bought the right size. Within seconds on putting this on it was instant pain relief as the support to my wrist stabilised it and the pain dramatically reduced!The item appears very well made. The stitching looks high quality and the metal bar is good quality and bent at a good angle so I haven't had to adjust.I've worn it for a few hours and found it to be very comfortable with no sweating or rubbing on my skin.There is an underlayer of soft, silky fabric inside which the velcro straps pull the edges together which is a nice addition to stop the seam rubbing on my skin at the crease. Again, demonstrates the quality of this item.I have nerve pain radiating into my wrist and hand but also currently suffering from a sprain/strain giving me terrible wrist pain and weakness. We have a physio in the family who has given me a lot of advice to use this to rest and correct positioning whilst it heals and during demanding tasks such as housework and lifting children and groceries/laundry baskets etc. Use tubigrip, stretching and ice throughout the day when I can.This item has helped ease the pain, provided support so I can more easily lift and bear weight on my left wrist/hand and also immobilized it to a degree so I do not reinjure it to prevent reversing the healing I have managed so far.It came in a plastic wrapper inside a well designed and quality branded cardboard box. I have had a recurrence of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome after surgery 20 years ago. In the last few months I have purchasd several different brands. This is by far the best and most comfortable for me. The cut away area on the little finger side and the relatively low rise across the back of the hand make for far more freedom of movement (and much less cramping pain consequently), whilst still maintaining optimum wrist position for relief of carpal tunnel nerve pressure.Other styles I have tried come up too long on the hand and really interfere with movement.I especially like the silky insert to protect the wrist from irritation from the velcro straps. This also makes sizing more flexible.If I were to suggest an improvement it would be to scoop out the cut across the ball of the thumb joint on the palm to increase movement of the thumb.Best of the lot in my view.

I was looking for medium lenght splint as don't want that long one. Tried a few different products buf found this one easiest adjustable and quite comfortable comparing to one I had from hospital.It has both sides support. From bottom there is metal spoon and some other softer material from the top.Like the way it adjusts to wrist with fastening strips, very easy to put on and take it of.At first found it uncomfortable around the thumb, left some marks. But I sort it out by slightly bending metal spoon next to joint, made it more comfortable, no more marks around thumb.One more thing I was a bit disappointed. I bought a size Small as my wrist is 16cm, so I hoped this one will fit perfectly because medium I found to big. Unfortunately it was to loose around joint area where I need most support. When I fastened strip as much I need there was no sticker to stick it on. So needed to do some stitching (about 15mm) and now it fits perfect.Of course it doesn't take all pain away but it hurts less. Only tried this at home. Will see more difference while doing my job.Although looks good quality, nice stitching.

I have an arthritic hand; painful when doing intricate items like tying laces, potting on small seeds etc. Pain goes from back of thumb to well above the wrist - carpal tunnel perhaps? So with the prospect of months of work in our large, several acre, garden I bought this device and wear it most nights and the pain relief lasts most of the following day. I was surprised and pleased. It’s very well made, surprisingly comfortable, easy to fit (more or less like putting on a rigid glove with straps, Velcro simple!) and the metal ‘splint’ is well finished, the spoon finishing in your palm (All unseen though as it fits in a pocket). Really very good value. Happy to newer any questions. In the stars I have interpreted stretch as firmness and precision of fit.

Have purchased a few different wrist-splints similar to this over the years - but this is the best, by far! Bought it for my husband who suffers with carpel tunnel as, during sleep, his hands stiffen up causing immense pain on waking. It was recommended (by Osteo Consultant) that he try night-splints. Of all those he's tried, this comes out tops - for comfort, for support, for quality and, perhaps most important of all, for reducing the pain and stiffness on waking to almost zero! These are absolutely excellent supports - we were so impressed when the first one arrived, I immediately purchased another one. So, if you can relate to the problems I've mentioned here, do yourself a massive favour ... and just buy it! They're incredible, and so is the customer service from this company. Buy with confidence! :)

I bought these to give the support I need for writing/housework etc. - a different product to the one I usually buy but hoped they might be harder wearing & more practical colour-wise. They are comfortable to wear & I will be able to use them under rubber or gardening gloves but the small size is not small enough for me & only the bottom strap fits properly.
