Quick and easy dye
I needed to dye a natural and synthetic blend dress for a wedding. It was originally white and following the directions online (youtube videos are also provided). It came out perfectly. The color for the wedding was slate grey and the color was spot on. I used the stove method and it was a pretty easy process. I kept my dress in the for the longest suggested time. The hardest part was having to stir the dress for over an hour. I plan on dying other clothes now. For the photo, it is the dress on the far left.

Rich, perfect gray
Been using jacquard dye for about five years now for all manner of projects. I’ve been thinking for a time about using more gray, but I’ve worried about pulling the trigger because of the variation of people’s idea if what “gray” is. A lot of things labelled as “gray” are what I would call “light gray,” and most bizarre of all is the population if individuals which regard a color as gray even though it is 100% undeniably a shade of blue. I cannot fathom how this mistake is so common - perhaps they need an opthamologist.Anyway, the Jacquard Silver Gray iDye for natural fabrics most definitely produces what should be rightfully known as “gray.” It isn’t “light gray” or “dark gray,” and it sure as shinobi isn’t “blue” - it is the exact perfect depiction of gray. I was a little concerned during the dye bath that it would be too dark, as it was black as night, though there is a tendency for it to appear much darker while dyeing than what the final product will show. Now, I understand that to many others, this color may be considered a “dark gray,” I am still of the opinion that this is exactly what a standard gray should be assumed to appear as.I have included a photo of the original fabric sitting on top of and slightly left of the dyed fabric to illustrate the results. The dyed fabric shown is just over two yards of 100% linen fabric, and it is GLORIOUS!

Great deep color
I used two packages to dye a queen linen coverlet and a sweater. Added salt, hottest setting and after a few minutes agitation, turned off the machine to let it soak an hour. Resumed cycle. Came out just as I wanted. No staining of machine although I ran an extra cycle with bleach to be safe. I will use this product again. The sweater is nylon, cotton, acrylic, rayon. The color is deep gold. A little deeper than the pictures.

This dye is for organic material
I bought this dye for my son's halloween costume. The "body" was a sweatsuit made with 100% cotton material. I actually filled a large plastic tub with super hot tap water (mine can melt your skin off), a cup of salt, and a dye packet, dropped the damp pieces in and stirred a few times over 30 minutes. This product dyed both the long sleeve top and pants with no problem, the dye color was fairly uniform.I then tried to dye 100% polyester fleece, prepared a second fresh dye bath with a new dye pod, it would not take the dye. After 30 minutes I put the fleece in a cool rinse and the color rinsed completely off.

worked great
I used the stove top method. Only issue I had was finding uniodized salt. We only use iodized salt. I finally found some pickling salt and used that although I could never get it to dissolve in hot water so I just added it to the hot pot of shirts. Stirred off and on for 30 minutes, never really let it boil. Lined the stove and counters with foil so there would be no staining. When done I rinsed all 3 shirts in the sink with cold water then washed them in the washing machine. Checked the washer several times and no orange water at all. It definitely turned them a great shade of orange. I did this because I work where we have to wear safety orange or close to it and the first shirt in the picture they told me was coral and I couldn't wear it. I would use this brand again. It really didn't make a mess at all.

The comforter looks amazing and I think it is even better than the ...
I used this dye to "over dye" an organic cotton comforter that got bleach on it. The comforter looks amazing and I think it is even better than the original color. It is a dark charcoal grey. I used the dye in a hot bathtub full of water and salt (I dissolved the packets into a bucket of boiling water and then added to the salt water bathtub). Rinses out well and washes well (so far). I got the fixative and will let you know how the color holds up. I let the dye set for 3 hours (moving the comforter for the first hour and then mixing every 30 minutes for the next 2 hours). It was a beast to dye but I think the comforter looks great and the bathtub, shower, washer machine and all equipment used for the dye are clean and dye free after appropriate clean up.

Very good products
I have now used several dyes from Jacquard, this being the second colour and for natural fabric rather than polyester as before. I'm very happy with the results of everything I've dyed. The process is easy and the colours very true to the picture on the packet. They arrive in good time, allowing for them coming from California to Scotland and I will definitely used them again. Highly recommended (and it is very hard to find polyester dyes).

NOT the Jacquard acid dye, NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
I had already used happily the original Jacquard acid dye to dye wool, cashmere and silk. And it's amazing. This one arrived in a plastic bag (which already had a hole in it), and stained my garment!! It's a scam! NOT AT ALL recommended!

Not the colour you expect
The dye arrived a lot quicker than I expected so I can not fault the service I got . The problem is the colour says Aztec gold as you can see it’s no were near gold it’s orange .I was so disappointed and the table cloth I dyed is now going to be used for my rabbit to sleep on , a waste of money I should have just got myself a new table cloth .

Lovely colour, even result.
Great dye. I'll try other colours as they are not garish and look similar to colours that were widely available years ago. Glad to have found these.

easy to use dye
I used this together with the idye dark brown to give a saturated but more neutral greyed off tone to a pair of stone cords. It was the second colour I used so I'm not sure how it would turn out on its own, but the other idye's I've used have come out true to the swatches so would assume the same. Great colour range to chose from and easy to use. I used the cheapest salt from the supermarket to add to the wash as directed. The idye website is informative if you need more info before purchasing. I'm very happy with the results.
