keeping honest people honest
This box is very light weight. It wouldn't take much to open without the key. Just step on it and it'll pop or break open. I realize it's supposed to be inside a safe but a sealed envelope would do essentialy the same thing in letting you know if someone accessed the contents. Torn envelope, cracked box, no difference. Someone has some explaining to do.

It's fits perfectly
Bought a safe used (new to me). Needed a shelf. Was a little tight but fit perfectly in the slot. I'll pick up another shelf piece later.

It’s a drawer… don’t plan on securing anything I it
This works fine as a drawer. The lock is only on one side and mine is very difficult to use. It shouldn’t be but it doesn’t want to turn smoothly.Once locked any 6 year old with a screwdriver could pry it open.Works fine as a drawer to put small things in but don’t assume additional security with it.
