I've been using a smaller wool pad for a while but needed a bigger one. I love that this set has 2 sizes and the silicone iron mat is a nice addition. The other accessories are a bit cheap (e.g. you can't cut thread with the snips) But the little bag is useful and you can never have too many pins!

I had been looking and researching wool pressing mats for a while and each time this one seemed to come to the top of my list in terms of value, size and what you get. Both mats are a decent thickness and are so handy when crafting. You can pop it on the side with the iron and not have to keep moving around a bulky ironing board. The mat also allows you to press the fabric good and flat and helps take out any creases, and seams can be neatly and flatly pressed open for a much neater finish. It's great to have the choice of sizes too, if I know I will only be working with small pieces of fabric I can save even more space by just using the little mat. The little travel pouch and kit will be very handy for taking away on holiday. Overall, I would say this pressing mat set is great quality, excellent value for money and an absolute must for any crafter. Its has been invaluable while making all the family face masks recently.

These pads are perfect for quick ironing/ pressing jobs, and so much easier than dragging the ironing board out. I've found myself using both the large pad and the small one more often than I expected. I'd recommend turning the steam down if your iron has this option, as the surface under the pad can get quite wet otherwise, but it doesn't seem to get more than warm/comfortable-to-touch hot underneath the pad.I use the large pad directly on the counter in my utility room and the small one on top of a piece of wood in my sewing room for small jobs, which is perfect. Both pads are just the right size for those tasks, especially if used in association with a seam roll/ tailor's ham/ sleeve board for those awkward-shaped sections. Even when I went to the effort of getting the ironing board out for a big batch of ironing, I found that I got nicer results with the wool pad on top of the ironing board.

Glad I went for this larger size - I sew mainly garments and some of the smaller ones available just wouldn't be as useful.This is a great set and I'm glad I treated myself

Oh my goodness this is an absolutely amazing product. I do lots of sewing projects and an ironing board gets in my way also this is much thick. It's brilliant for seams and quilting. To be honest it's bigger than I expected and the small pad is mega useful too. It came with a nifty bag with a few goodies in too which i didn't expect to be as good as it is. I just am blown away with how fantastic it is. I thought it was pricey but when I started using it I would have paid double for it. Thank you so much 😊

Fantastic ironing mat, should have had one years ago. Great size and the added bonus of the small one. Ideal for my mask making and cuff ironing. There is a faint smell of wet sheep when using it but that is to be expected and it only happens when using the steam. If ironing a lot on steam then you do still need a protector underneath but I just used a towel. It was a great added bonus to receive the little wallet of handy bits. Not to big so can store under wardrobe or behind a cupboard.

Could not fault it.
