I love it! Sleek, portable and cute! Keep it to a small space because it certainly works great but not in big spaces.

Least the title confuse you, this works. Evaporative cooling is effective as long as you live in a dry area and this does produce cool air.Unfortunately, the media pad is tiny on this. Very little water evaporates; even in hot dry weather, the 0.8 gallon tank will last over 8 hours. As a result, it does virtually no actual cooling.A regular fan for less than $20 will cool you more effectively because it moves so much air despite not cooling it.The unit is built well and I honestly love the "natural breeze" feature. I recommended using a colloidal silver disinfectant like they sell for humidifiers in these units.

Compact unit worth its value and works well for cooling small rooms and circulating air.

When I took it out of the box, I thought it looked really cute. Unfortunately, the water cup on the bottom would not shut all the way, and the cooler function on the unit would not work. It was not accessing the water in the basin. As far as the fan part of the unit, the fan does no good at all, its very weak. Like it's not even working. It does nothing for you. I ordered a bigger one today. We'll see how that goes.

A little on the expensive side but they do make a 10 -15 degrees difference.

This is a 10x10 ft room cooler, in dry country, as in Colorado where I live.It was great little cooler for my bedroom, last year when I purchased this item.It does NEED cleaning, and use ice cubes not the little containers they send, but there are small plastic items hooked to the measuring device inside the watered area that break!!! For what reason, I have no clue, just found broken piece, but it still worked, UNTIL starting the next year and failed!!!! Water leaked everywhere, I was supposedly given a refund, but each time I see the refund that has never come, it is less and less than agreed.This years' model, more expensive seems to work better, but stay on top of Amazon on your refund and how things are shipped. There have been problems this month of July, not sure why, perform your due diligence!!

I ordered the air cooler for my office b/c my office does not get enough circulation. The air cooler is very easy to use & not loud at all.

This was used in my sons office. Did not do, as was expected, to make the room comfortable in coolness! Going to return it!
