Hitech - Replacement Cordless Phone Battery for Plantronics CS50, CS55, CS60 Wireless Headset

I've had my CS-50 headset for about six years now and the original battery no longer lasts the entire day. While my experience with this battery is limited to three days, I can say that it lasts the full ten hour day and seems to work well. Again, this is a limited time frame in which to judge a battery, but so far, so good. And for less than $5 it seems to be well worth the price. It fit perfectly, and I haven't had any of the connection/size issues that some other reviewers have had. Again, I figured that for less than $5 it was worth the risk and it's paid of so far.

Some reviewers wrote having trouble inserting the battery - I didn't have any problems. The fit is snug - but the packaging does have enough give - just don't be afraid to fold in the rough edges and firmly push the battery in. Also of note is the power wire on this battery is much longer than the original - just fold it into the gaps/space and then put the cover back on - it all fits in the end. Once the battery was inserted - the phone charged up and now works like new again. For the price - I bought two just in case I got a bad one. Now I've got a spare when this one goes out.

The battery replacement is working great! Easy to install and stays still. Good quality and price. Would recommand this item.

While the price is much less than other manufacturers, the wire connector is in reverse and operation unsuccessful (10 out of 10 batteries...bad batch???). Also, the physical size is thicker requiring a little force to get the battery fully installed. It does work after re-installing the connector.

This battery charges up well and then the charge lasts a few hours. I installed it in wireless headphones and it does a terrific job. Plays music for several hours.

Its a replacement battery. What else is there to say. It fits and holds a charge. I am satifsied with the purchase and the price was right.

Product is a perfect replacement for the CS55 battery. It's a smidgen longer, than OEM, but it fits just fine. It's got a higher mAh rating than OEM, so it will last a bit longer between charges. Both this and the OEM batteries are made in China, so I don't see any difference in quality between the two, so why not go with a higher mAh rating. I recommend this product if your battery is failing on your CS55. For < $5, you cannot go wrong.

I finally, after almost 8 years, had to replace the battery in my headset. I found this battery and was skeptical that it would actually fit in such a small compartment. When it arrived, I pulled the old battery out and compared them and they were virtually the same with only difference being the plug in was in a different location (about an 1/8"). It plugged in okay and installed okay and is working just fine after a least two months!
