Perfect for the light traveler.
I purchased this rolling briefcase to bring to school -- as a graduate student, the weight of books is unreasonable to carry on my back. Overall, I would recommend this briefcase, but I will list a few pros and cons below, based on my own assessment thus far...Pros:Quality materials - the fabric isn't cheap or thin, and it seems to be water resistant (light sprinkling to a light rain); the zippers are also good quality and don't snag; the wheels do their job well, as in rolling easily over different types of surfaces (pavement, cobblestone, carpet, and a wooden boardwalk); the fabric handle (to hold as a briefcase) is well-fastened and comfortable to grip.Lots of pockets - if you like to carry a variety of small items, this is a good option. There are two small outer pockets (can hold an iPad mini in each with room to spare). The pocket that I assume is designated for a laptop is nicely padded/insulated, although I would probably use an extra protective sleeve around it just to be safe. There are several other small pockets that fit pens, phone, chargers perhaps... I like the variety of the pocket sizes, personally.Stylish - I purchased the green briefcase and I love the color. I am a law student and I typically wear dressy-casual or dressy clothing to school. I was worried at first that this briefcase would diminish my professional look, but that couldn't be further from reality. The briefcase is minimalistic but nicely styled and I believe it is gender-neutral.Cons:The collapsable handle - This is my biggest concern/complaint regarding this product. I should first start by saying that the collapsable handle has three length options, as well as being completely stowed. I am 5'6 and the tallest length option is a bit too tall for me. At this height, I have accidentally tripped people because I didn't realize how far behind me the briefcase was, but keeping it close to me at this height was uncomfortable and felt unnatural. The next size down is unfortunately too short for me, and also feels unnatural. I usually opt for the tallest length and maintain awareness to keep it closer to my person. The main pocket - The sole purpose of buying this briefcase was to transport textbooks to various classes without having to stop at my car/locker or carry a shoulder bag. The main pocket of this briefcase, which is more of a compartment, is rather shallow. I can easily fit two textbooks (each about 500 pages), but that is it. No notebooks, no pads of paper, no binders. If I take out a textbook, I can fit a small to medium size binder or a couple notebooks, or a slimmer supplement book. My point is that this is not a briefcase made to transport a ton of thick items. Also, the handle on the back (collapsable one) protrudes through the lining of the fabric in the main compartment and therefore it is not an "even" surface to place items.I hope this review is helpful, and I do recommend this product and brand.

Light weight, great size and color.
I bought my first Baggallini on a whim at a discount store. I have always been a fan of real leather. If you take care of it, it lasts forever. But I was looking for something lighter and I figured if the Baggallini purse held up for a year, at the discount store price, it was worth it. Well, 3 years later, the purse still looks great and I still use it every day. So when I was looking for a rolling laptop bag and saw that Baggallini had one out, I was intrigued. Don't get me wrong- I agonized over whether to get this one or a leather one, but in the end, the leather ones were big and heavy and came in boring colors like black and tan. So I opted to get this one from Baggallini. First of all, I love the color. It is also very lightweight. With my laptop in it, it weighs about as much as my leather shoulder bag does unfilled. The handle seems sturdy and opens and retracts easily. The overall dimensions are smaller than most of the leather ones I looked at, yet it is plenty roomy inside. It has lots of compartments. I love the fact that it has a flap on the back so you can insert it over another bigger rolling suitcase as I am often traveling alone and have a ton of stuff to lug around. It is nice enough that if you wanted to just use it as an overnight bag or carry-on, it wouldn't seem like you were using your briefcase. I would have given it five stars, except I wish the laptop storage area was more secure or the strap in there was tighter or there was a little more padding. But since I really don't ever foresee checking the bag with my laptop in it, it's not really a big issue. The zippers also don't seem as rugged as the ones on my purse, but I guess those zippers were part of the style of the purse. I haven't had any issue with the zippers on the Skyline. The other thing that would make it perfect would be an outside compartment for a water bottle. I haven't tested the wheels on pavement yet, like walking from a hotel to a trade show, but they work great on indoor flooring. Overall, I love the bag and would recommend it if you're looking for something light weight in a pretty color with lots of compartments. If it holds up as long as my Baggallini purse, I'll be thrilled.

Review for Students/Professionals with a lot of heavy materials.
DISCLAIMER: Review for STUDENTS or PROFESSIONALS with a lot of heavy materials.I know my three stars is probably contradicting a lot of wonderful reviews, but as I say in my disclaimer above, this review is limited for students and professionals who have a lot of heavy materials to carry. Despite this bag being great for the multiple other uses, like my husband has found for overnight business trips and business meetings, I have been driven bananas by the few times I use the bag as it is too small and cramped for my needs. My husband actually bought one of these in black because it was lightweight for travel and had the simplicity he needed that other bags lacked. I bought one for law school after he encouraged me. Unfortunately.... this bag is way too small!!! Despite seeing him use it for overnight travel on business trips, I really overestimated what fits in this bag. Definitely not two large text books and everything else I need. Fitting the books in is always a struggle, and though the bag doesn't weight more than a few pounds itself, I was finding my hand unable to pull the heaviness because the bag lacked support and strength in the design to carry heavier items. Also, the bag is too small for two text books and my laptop. I found myself using the bag I normally carry as well to supplement the weight distribution. I know this bag gets a five star rating from business professionals and others that have less weight and things to carry, but I also think this bag would never be suitable for me even in a business world. It feels very difficult to retrieve things from the front pockets, and I find myself constantly losing pens and highlighters at the bottom of each compartment (there are not a lot). Which brings me to my last point, the bag in my opinion is way over priced for what it is.
