Good stuff
This is good stuff. If the dealers use it, that's a good sign. I would say this has a better cling or tackiness as compared to most parts store stuff. Whatever you use, it won't last forever. I just replaced front pads on a 2012 Mazda 5, and the caliper slider pins were getting rather dry. But the pins were not yet worn, so the grease lasted as long as the pads (4 years). I just cleaned the dried grease off the pins, re-lubed, and re-assembled. Easy. Now I will see if this lube lasts as long as the original. Also, for anyone who is wondering , the Motorcraft stuff is the Mazda stuff. This came in a Mazda branded box with a Motorcraft branded tube inside. Quite a few of the vehicles share components. In fact, the Mazda 5 calipers have "FoMoCo" (Ford Motor Company) cast into them. They are very similar or identical to those on the Ford Focus, Ford C-Max, and Mazda 3 (all excellent driving vehicles).

Genuine Mazda = Distributed by the Ford Motor company???
I am not sure how Ford Motorcraft lube qualifies as genuine Mazda. I was hoping that the picture shown was in error but it is not. The only thing that I can think of is that this is the same stuff Mazda uses since their partnership with ford some years back. A lot of chemicals end up like that, wear it's the same thing just under a different brand. Going to use this on my slide pins, it should work just fine.

OEM quality
Since the brakes on Mazda 6 2009 are made by FoMoCo, this is exactly what the "doctor" (mechanic) prescribed :)OEM quality
