SEIKO QXA756KLH Wall Clock, Black, 12 Inch

Arrived on time . The clock looks great on my wall.

I'm a school teacher and the clock we had in our classroom I could hear ticking away when the kids weren't in the room and it would drive me crazy while making lessons and doing paperwork. It also has no numerals, no second hand and was wildly inaccurate for a quartz clock. So I threw that one out and replaced it with my own clock from an actual horology brand. This Seiko clock is very quiet. I don't hear it unless I literally put my ear up to it and it is still quiet. The 2nd reason I like it is as a classroom clock is it is very easy to read with large numerals which is great if you want to teach your students the ancient art of reading an analog clock. 😂 Can't recommend it more for school or even an office or work place. At home my wall clock has Roman Numerals and is more ornate but it goes with the vibe of my study. Maybe could go well in a modern or minimalist kitchen, I don't know. This is a no frills, super legible, accurate and quiet clock from a real clock/watch maker. I don't think you can beat this one for the price. 100% value for money in my opinion and it's a Seiko! I'd rather have a real Seiko clock on my wall than any of those fake Rolex clocks. And I have the same opinion as far as watches go. If you are thinking about a getting a fake luxury watch, take that money and buy a Seiko.

Absolutely terrible tick. I have another Seiko and was expecting this to be the same quality, but this Seiko is so loud it will keep you awake at night, even if it’s in the hallway. It’s that LOUD!

The Amazon description is completely incorrect; this is NOT a SILENT clock. The clock ticks audibly. It's not excessively loud, and it's a pleasant enough tick, but it does tick. We have it in a bathroom and of course when it's quiet, you can hear it clearly. At first I thought a tap was dripping! It's fine in the bathroom but I would not put this in a smaller bedroom or smaller office where it would be very audible. You will find that on Seiko's website, this particular model "Office Wall Clock" (QXA756KLH, QXA756WLH, etc.) is not advertised as being quiet or silent. They have pricier models which are labeled "quiet sweep"; this is not one of them. (We have one of these Seikos with a sweeping second hand in the living room, and it is dead silent.) So the description error is Amazon's. All this said, if the tick won't bother you, this is a very well-made clock and very good value.

Large, easy to read, but noisy. Like Bryce says in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider—"It's one of them ticking clocks." I would not recommend this clock for anywhere you spend a lot of time. I have mine in the bathroom, and it's just barely tolerable. Funny thing is, it only ticks at certain points in it's journey around the face of the clock. Maybe I got a clunker. Hard to tell.

Love this wall clock. It actually is hung in a big bathroom and looks great.

This is a nice big white clock for my kitchen wall. I love it because it’s so easy to read and it fits any decor you have. The description does not say whether there is a cover on the face so I wasn’t sure until I received it and it does have a plastic cover.

Reliable must buy .highly recommended

Excelente reloj, llevo 3 meses con el y la pila con la que vino (aunque es pila generica) sigue funcionando, ya que con los relojes anteriores que habia tenido, la pila la tenia que cambiar cada mes aproximadamente. Vale la pena el precio aunque cuesta mas que los demas relojes que habia comprado( sin marca) este reloj Seiko es original y no se adelante ni retrasa.Recomiendo ampliamente este reloj y al vendedor tambien porque llego completo con instructivo y en excelente estado!
