Did you follow the instructions - A client of mine requested that we install a mag lock for them, watched a ton of reviews and we ended up selecting this unit. First off, the box arrived quicker than I expected and had everything we needed. My team and I got it installed on a Saturday and tested out everything. One problem right after another, each time I'm about to write an angry email only to realize I missed a step. If my wife was here I can already image her saying ... did you read the instructions? I did get stuck once and reached out to them and I'll tell you what, they didn't miss a beat. Turns out I was an idiot once again and should have seen that detail about the two unused cables need to be wrapped up and they were shorting out the panel. After installing, learning ... and reinstalling, here is what I can tell you. This is a very easy product to install and configure. Do yourself a favor, set it up on your kitchen table first so you get the hang of it. If its not very strong, tweak the screw on the plate, correct the alignment and above all else ...... read the instructions Review: Second System I get from Beseen Control and runs great! - This is the second system I've purchased from Beseen control, previous one been running for close to 2 years and has kept up with electrical, weather and other external factors without issues. The software is easy to use, it comes with everything you need and plenty of information on the setup and the physical connections to the sensors, keypads, magnets and power supply. People in the office feel a lot safer since both are installed in strip-mall type offices and have all kinds of soliciting going on, this has stopped a good 80% of that and also paired it with the APP that people control from their phones when someone needs to get in the office and forgot their card or keychain token. Also used a RING doorbell right next to the external keypad, this way I know if we should actually open the door or not. Solid system, easy to install and setup. Can't beat it for the price :) ## Features - Control 2 doors, get in door by swiping card or PIN code, and get out door by push button. Can store/download/check entry records. I plan on switching they system to this system, can i program the new fobs prior to shutting down the old system?** A: Old fobs and new ones have nothing to do with each other unless I am misunderstanding your question.? Assuming you want to use the old fobs in the new system? Not sure about that. The reader supports the following cards: EM4100/EM4001/TK4100. But yes you can just install the provided software n a network pc and hook up the usb fob reader as well. Create the users and link the unique new fob ID to that user using the provided reader / or type it in. I did my cards after hardware setup, but you can do it at any time. You will have to hook the control panel up the network at some point to write the settings/user fobs to control board, but once that is done, you can disconnect from the network and pretty much set and forget. Mine has been working flawlessly for almost 2 years. **Q: What wire do you need for this setup ?** A: suggest to use 22awg cat-6e cable **Q: I have a few questions before buying, Like are all the keypads water proof? The system i'm looking at it doesn't say.** A: For water proof system, kindly check below listing: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0868GMPCQ **Q: How can I reach customer support?** A: Yes ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If my wife was there she'd ask ...
