Arrived quickly and in good condition. Each color spool was packed with a rubber band to prevent unraveling in transit. Unlike some other similar products I've seen, this is TRUE 18 AWG, with insulation to match. I'd say each wire with its insulation is about the same thickness as if you split a piece of #18 speaker wire. You also get an extra meter of each color compared to some similar kits listed on Amazon, so overall a good value. Fine strands and tinned, so it solders very easily. (Just watch out for stray strands - they are very fine!) The little stripping tool it comes with is super-handy and works well. I haven't tried the color shrink tubing yet, but will probably use it for cable marking, as I already have a bunch of black shrink tubing.

Worked as it should. The sheathing seems thicker than necessary and fewer wire strands, but overall it has been effective.

Easy to usu worth the money

Ordered solid core/standard, received stranded/multi core. Wire stripper tool included is too big to strip this high a gauge of wire. Sent it back!

It works, that's really all. The free heat-shrink is nice too.

Ordered the item named "solid" which item's name was subsequently changed to "standard" and a braided/ stranded (useless to me) wire is what was delivered. What's happening here is that the item is falsely advertised and then changed post payment. I assume they have a bunch of braided wire they can't sell so they just bait and switch betting that the effort involved to return the item will be too much trouble. (This is not the only review of this nature)
