As mentioned by others, there is no strain relief grommet on the cable ... if you pick up the foot pedal by the cable, you’ll break it. I tied a knot in the cable just inside the housing to relieve the strain on the soldered connections. Secondly, the round pressure plate is half the size of the original, with no double-sided tape provided.I installed this, but don’t expect it to last. Seeing that the cymbal cables that I bought are a fraction of the price and of much better quality than this one, I’m disappointed. However, for now at least, it works.

Works perfectly! It was smaller than the original sensor, but it worked perfectly. I used some THIN 3M double-sided tape to secure it to the pedal.You WILL NEED TO SECURE THE CORD to the pedal, by a grommet with glue or a knot or both.I gave 4-stars because of the lack of a way to secure the cord and no double sided tape, otherwise it would be a 5-star.

This sensor was a much more economical fix than buying a new pedal. It was easy to install, just a couple of things to note. The back of the sensor had residue of double-stick foam, suggesting that it had been previously installed. Used some outdoor double-stick foam to secure sensor to the pedal housing. Also had to make a strain relief using electrical tape and a zip tie to prevent the lead wires from breaking at the solder joint. Hopefully the cable insulation will not deteriorate like the OEM cable insulation did - time will tell.

the product worked to an extent. It was intermitten,, sometimes it would register, but not always, so frustrating to use. Ended up buying a whole new kick pedal off ebay

Worked as advertised. The wire is even thinner than the original, which has me concerned about its durability. I superglued the wire to the inside of the pedal to mitigate a tug on the wire from breaking the leads.

Very easy to install. After several days of use, still working without issues. Good replacement for Guitar Hero Drums Pedal
