VCTVP 101 VP-101 Adapter for India Universal Plug, White

I was skeptical of these, even after it arrived, as it looked about as generic and inexpensively made a piece of electronic equipment as I have ever seen. But, it worked well in India! So no worries there - buy and use.

I ordered this from amazon mainly for convenience. Did not want to drive 10 miles for this. This arrived in time and worked fine throughout our trip. Its a nice sturdy and functional adapter and we did not encounter any problems.

Good compact design. Make sure that you don't plug devices designed for an American outlet, which is 120V, since this plug is compatible with many outlets that are 240V. This could result in damage to your devices! (Most cell phone chargers are 240V tolerant.)

I bought two of these for a trip to India. Both worked just fine. They seem to be sturdy and I expect they'll last a long time.

This is the converter to get. Works perfectly for all the uses for charging various gadgetry: e-readers, phones. The size allows for traveling easy with them

It is hard to find adapters that have the 3 prongs. Worked very well!
