Really useful book
I found this book really useful.First it brings together a lot of data which can be found elsewhere, but be suspect (if trawled off the internet) or require consultation a lot of different sources (nautical almanacs, class associations, books on boat building etc.).Second it has some useful and unique information - for example typical sail areas for open boats, beam and displacement vs water line lengths and so on.It also has a lot of useful advice and guidelines.I used it to design a modified rig for a dinghy I was building. It would be a useful acquisition for current and intending boat owners, naval architects, yacht chandlers and many others.Well worth the money!

I have used this book since version 1 and have introduced it to multiple people in the profession. Cant be without it. the colour addition doesn't really help - but it doesn't hurt ether

Never seen a book like this before.
It's just full of measurements etc. No reams of blurb to bump up the page count, clearly presented and easy to read even without my specs on some of the time. Seriously comprehensive and utterly useful!
