Cerwin Vega Mobile CV VMAXX Series 6.5" DVC High-Performance Subwoofer (4Ω) - VMAX65D4

It's a Cerwin Vega. It's a great speaker. It sounds really good in my car. It's used just to boost the bass enough to sound good. The amp doesn't push it to its max, so there is more bass I could get out of it with a bigger amp, but that would shake the car too much and make everything rattle. At first, I thought I ordered the wrong ohm rating. Then I realized it was correct for me to run the dual coils in series. It does what I need it to do perfectly.

nice deep bass. I have it paired with a JL audio amp 1000w. It hits hard without the rattling trunk noise. Adjusting your amp properly is the key.

Cerwinvega 8 inch subwoofer vmaxx. This subwoofer is trash! Haven't had it long 3 of them in a box on a prime 1200.1 fosgate amp and tbe sub cone came apart. Do not buy!!!

This thing is a beast... Hits like a 12. Putting 500rms on it and it is plenty loud..

One well made speaker with great bass no disappointment here. But you have to modify your box to get this to fit a 10 inch box. Have to widen the hole

Kind of hard to get this sub to sound good. Been trying all kinds of port sizes. But trying a sealed box soon I'll update on that later. Update!. Just doesn't sound as good as it looks. Changed it out with another sub and it hits like a single 12". But not giving up on it going to make a custom box. update later on it.

These subs hit strong and are very durable. Exactly what I expected from Cerwin Vega! I run Cerwin Vega in my 72 El Camino and 64.5 Ford Mustang!
