Hunter Pro-Spray PROS-04 4 in. Pop-Up Lawn Sprinkler Head Body, No Nozzle

I've had different types of sprinklers from big box stores, and these ones are the best! They even work good with low pressure faucet timers. I'm only buying these from now on.

I got these Hunter bodies for my home in the front yard 10 years ago. Still going strong. Over the years the multi stream nozzles have worn out because of the hard water but new nozzles are 4 bucks each. Nothing to do with the bodies. I highly recommend using the multi stream nozzles with these Hunter bodies. If you're going to pay for water for a lawn you should use it for its greatest value. Traditional spray nozzles overwater 2 feet in front of the sprinkler and underwater 8 feet out. Multi stream water evenly and apply water slower allowing water to penetrate the soil without running off. The whole goal is to water the lawn and not the sidewalk. With multi stream nozzles you will have to leave the sprinklers on longer to apply the water but more of it penetrates the soil rather than misting and evaporating off. For the best lawn determine what species of lawn you have and what soil to determine what amount of water you need than use Hunters website chart to determine how long the sprinklers need to run to apply the correct amount of water. I bought more for the back yard to replace the Rainbirds that have worn out and I can't get new nozzles for. These are the best sprinkler bodies money can buy. Hunter is used by municipalities and school districts nationwide for Hunters known reputation for quality.

Work well

I always use rainbird irrigation system. Need to replace one and found out this is good price. But after replace it. found out it won't spray water horizontally. it will only shoot water up only. There is no instruction nor adjustment. Cleaned and put some WD40 in the old one. It still a lot better than this. I don't even bother return it. Throw that away instead.

If you like to use the Hunter brand of products, buying them here will save you a ton of money versus the local hardware store. This are shipped quickly and packaged very nicely. Good buy!!

First, the model is not what is shown in the cartoons above. I used this for a specific area in my garden, but it puts out a lot of water—more than necessary for my layout. I tried adjusting it, but on this model, you can only adjust the arc (the direction of the spray), not the volume of water being used. If you have high water pressure, this head will "mist" and waste a lot of water.
