Ibergrif M91501 Adapter G3/8 to G1/2, Tap Connector Reducer

Essential adaptor for my new German basin tap tails that are 3/8” thread whereas UK isolators are typically 1/2” thread. Very easy to fit as a compression fitting. They’re neat and don’t add too much to the space required to fit.It would have been helpful to be prompted that this item or similar was probably a necessary additional purchase when buying Grohe taps

Bought these to replace a brass one that had cracked. Did a good job.

Very simple worked great

First thing: the description makes it seem like you only get one of these in the box, but you actually get two. I know this because I ordered two and now have four of these.If you're looking at this you're probably going to install a European tap that comes with tiny flexi tails, such as Grohe. This adapter works great, it will screw onto a typical isolation valve or compression coupler, the supplied washer has a mesh filter on it, so it barely needs to be hand tight to make a great seal. Your tails will screw onto this and provide a nice tight seal, too.Much easier if you're changing taps from a normal one to a euro one than using the things they sell in the 3/8" screw on couplers the diy sheds sell.

Excellent quality and great fitting part

Most importantly, these arrived and they worked. I was a little confused as they were both marked as if they may have been used before (see photos). One had a white seal with filter in but the other did not. Neither had black ring seals in to fit the 1/2 inch feed. As I had been without a tap for over a week waiting for a replacement tap that did not have the adapaters, I went ahead and fitted.For anyone using these, probably best to fit these to the feed (1/2 inch) first. The secure on the 3/8th tap flexi pipes.So they worked and looked decent quality, it's just a shame I had to buy them because the tap from the same make was supposed to come with these supplied. And watch out, buy some extra seals just in case. Yours might come with them, mine did not.If they'd been unmarked and had seal as displayed in the picture, then i'd have given a better rating. Only time will tell if they last (I mean they should ofc)

These adapters were the perfect solution to fit a Hansgrohe basin mixer tap to the existing isolation valves. Job done.
