This was good when used on 190 degrees temp, when used on 200 degrees after 2 uses blew up. Very short life.

sent for replacement unit as power touch control faulty and started making grinding sound after a couple of uses, hope this was just a one off faulty unit. amazon replacement service quick and efficient.

I bought this one after doing my research!It is a fabulous little bit of kit and I use it regularly now.Always remember to shake the food to move it around as it goes through its cycle and don't over cook it either.Very pleased with the purchase.

efficient and very useful

Not come across Severin before and although its manufactured in China (no surprise) the German brand has obviously exercised strict quality controls in terms of the original design and production. A good looking, neat device. Has vertical sides, not at all bulbous like my old Philips., so it's perfect if you've only a small kitchen or generally restricted for space. Easy to operate with digital buttons and displays. Well powered and no preheating required (again unlike my old Philips), you just set the temperature from the start and immediately off you go. Quite low noise volume too. Oh, and certainly well priced too like-for-like with the Philips!
