Athlon Optics Precision 34mm Medium Height Ring, Black

Bought these because I first cheeped out and purchased a different brand for less than half the price that wouldn't hold alignment even while attempting laser alignment on rifle mounted in a vice. Note to self and anyone interested, Never Ever purchase a pair of cheapo 34mm scope mounts for a very good Athlon (substitute your brand) 34mm tube scope. Buy these Athlon units or something more expensive. A $1600 scope and $130 rail deserves quality scope mounts!These are Highly recommended.Next step, leave a totally different review for the cheapo's

Rings hold a 6x24 50mm scope with 34mm tube. work great, holds perfect zero.

These rings work great.

Poor quality rings at the $100 mark. The rings look okay. But once you start to really look. You'll see that the base ring and the caps do not match on the inside. That's not good... Great way to really damage an optic. So I lapped them. I didn't realize how out of round they really were. Lapping them showed all the high and low areas. For a $100 price point they should not need any or very little lapping. Once on,, they had a lot of slop (front to back movement). There shouldn't be any or very very little movement. If, they are precision rings as they advertise. Shame on you Athlon.Precision Rings,,,, Ya I don't think so....FYI....yes my tag name is correct. So I do know a thing or two about installation.My 2 cents.....pass on these. There are several other at this price point that are much better.
