As an older adult I've always had a problem taking photos with my iPhone. This product works as advertised and I can now take photos like using a digital camera. I believe the grip will work for either left-hand or right-handed individuals. I especially like that there is a bluetooth shutter button that works perfectly, which is helpful in keeping the phone steady while taking a photo. I also like that the grip will allow you to attach it to a monopod or tripod. The only negative for me is that I wish the handle we just a little larger to make it a little easier for me to grip, otherwise I think it's great product for the money.

Simply press and hold the button to turn it on, pair it to your phone's Bluetooth, and BAM!! You've got a great camera grip for you phone that even features a removable trigger button for remote control, and a 1/4-20 thread on the bottom for mounting it on tripods, magic arms, or even onto a battery bank. Works great for me, no complaints at all! Been using it with the Note10+ and S21 Ultra and experiencing fast response times, accurate amounts of photos with multiple presses, and so far it stood up to standard usage!

Adds a great feel when using your phone as a camera. Detachable remote was a big plus, which potentially limited another item to keep track of. I lost either the button (as it is small) and/or the whole thing and decided to write a review as I do miss having it and am currently looking at more recent generations and am considering this over them.The leather feel was very comfortable and felt just right holding the camera.I did not give it 5 stars for 2 reasons. Not a rechargeable battery and no zoom. The battery issue doesn't seem easily marked on the description, but you should know that you may need to obtain or replace the battery at some point. Not entirely a deal breaker, but may be if you are surprised.Not having zoom was something that I really missed when I used it because you would need your other hand to manually zoom on your phone and limited how much value the accessory provided when you did.As I'm looking at the 2 newer models, CG01 and CG02, I'm unsure if either would be necessarily better or if they have negatives that cancel out the newer features. With both, they introduce usb-c charging which is a huge plus, but it frustrates me that the CG02's main feature is a light on the front, but you need to charge them both separately. For ease of use reasons, that really needs to be addressed in my opinion. Having to charge both parts is a huge barrier. The mirror on the CG01 is a neutral to + for me, nice to have, doesn't necessarily add a lot. Although, it was apparent to me that they no longer advertise the leather on that description, which may mean it won't feel as good in your hands.CG02 though, is the only one to now have a zoom feature, although the comments on weight seem concerning. I would rather not have the built in light that I have to charge and use the light on the phone if it will add significant weight to the device. I wanted to love this thing, but I have to say I only like it, sort of.It works well with the actual phone camera app (iphone 12 pro max) but does not work in polycam.In all fairness, polycam disables the cameras zoom feature so it has to be a native camera app in polycam.That aside, the clicker works, the bluetooth is clumsy to setup each time.You must turn on bluetooth, then press the clicker button for 3 seconds until a little green LED appears on the front of the clicker. Then, you should see it pairing with your device.It should then ask for permission to pair, select yes.Now, the clicker should be paired and work. IF not, try checking if you had previously paired the clicker to the device. You may have to unpair the clicker from the bluetooth and pair it again as a newly found device. Not sure why it does this, but mess around with it if you are running into difficulties as it has 1 specific way you must connect it every time.As far as the grip goes, I personally don't like digital camera grips and this is identical. I do not like the grip. It makes me feel like I do not have the strongest hold on the 'camera' and that's a problem as my 'camera' was over $1k and I cannot drop this thing. I have hands that can palm a regulation size NBA basketball, barely and if the ball is clean, but anyways, this grip makes me feel like I am using my fingers tips to hold it rather than a firm grip like holding a hammer or door handle, if that makes sense.I honestly feel like I could drop my phone at any second while using this grip. It feels off balance most of the time and my larger hands feel awkward trying to hold this and move around photographing interiors of homes (over 1k pictures I take on these interiors).I give this 3 stars.It works.It is cost effective.I understand if it was larger I'd probably enjoy it more.With that said, it is basic, cheap hollow injection form plastic. IT works, but barely.3 of 5 stars! (please make a larger one for larger hands, or one with a wrist strap option!)

Plastic quality is decent to goodErgonomics with the grip is very goodUNFORTUNATELY…Clamp is not wide enough to grip on my iphone 13 pro max with otterbox defender XT case .. I tried forcing it open just to grip on the phone but the extending plastic arm is starting to bend so i removed before it breaks.. i just wished they used a screw in tightening mechanism like the ones they did with my ulanzi alloy tripod phone holderSo i wont be able to use it at all…
