I got this SD Card because it's advertised as being Nintendo Switch compatible...IT IS NOT!!!I was unable to get my Switch to recognize the card. I also read about these SD cards not being formatted correctly for Nintendo Switch so I tried to re-format the SD on my laptop by using the Micro SD adapter and the computer wouldn't recognize this either!!!DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU WANT TO EXPAND STORAGE ON YOUR NINTENDO SWITCH!!! Pay the extra money and get something guaranteed to work.

Currently in my Nintendo switch. Way better value than their $60 sd card for the same storage capacity

If you need this for a smart device or in my case a dash cam. Save your money, this caused freezing, hard reset, and ultimately my dash cam stopped working. Recommend sandisk with ultra plus 100mb per sec. This is terrible, not a bargain. Also Amazon does not return this item will only exchange. Seller reachable by their website. Do not anticipate a refund. Hope to give it away to someone w a older, slower device or will have to toss.

It is supposed to be 128GB, but when I inserted the card into my son's Nintendo Switch it only had 114GB. It's still enough space for his game but I would've preferred to get the amount that it states on the card and description.

Had no problem its a 64gb micro sd card for a great value

The reason why these are so cheap is there's no quality control. I bought a 5 pack and a single pack, all of the cards were defective. They would "format" but then the partition would never show up. Put them in a security camera device and they didn't record anything despite showing the drive capacity and that it was correctly formatted. Then inserted it into my Mac, formatted it with Disk Utility and SD Card Formtter, all showed a successful format, but none of them actually resulted in a useable partition. You are much better off sticking with the name brands than going with this cheap garbage alternative.

I have bought several of this brand, different sizes, several 128 gb, (from last Fall till April 2021) I thought I had found something that worked good, at a little bit lower price than other (more known) brands. I even recommended it to others. I should have read more of the reviews. Maybe it's a fluke, but this one, that I've had in my phone for 5 months, with music and pictures, stopped showing. I tried it in my computer, and different phone.... but couldn't even disk scan it because it wouldn't show. Sometimes it did, but but the files wouldn't open and with disk scan it said "no disk found" . I tried for 2 days, everything I could find, via Google, wiping it with a pencil eraser, or with alcohol,. Using a disk recovery program on my computer (it didn't find the card) When I buy the cards there is an option to pay more and get "disk recovery" service if it fails, but it said they would ATTEMPTED to recover your files, which didn't sound very positive, so I didn't buy it. I had some of the files backed up but not all, and most of the pictures are lost. The listing for Gigastone says "limited 5 year warranty" but I don't see anything about how to see what this covers. It might be just this card, but are the others I bought going to fail soon, too? Even if it's just one card out of several I have bought, my files are still gone. And, I am disappointed, I thought I had found a good brand, that was also "affordable" I guess it's true you get what you pay for.

So far i have had no issues using it with my computer and Nintendo Switch. Have uploaded over 20 gigs with no issues. For the price? Can't beat it!

Promete 100mb/s de transferencia pero solo llega a 20, a pesar de eso, la cantidad de memoria es correcta y no es falsa (verificada con programas como h2testw)La uso en mi Switch y a pesar de todo los juegos cargan a una velocidad decente, recomendada si no quieren gastar tanto.Estaré actualizando si le llega a pasar algo malo a la memoria.

I bought this as it was a good price and had a bit of hype. I bought 3 all in. 2 worked at first, the 3rd wouldnt work at all. I was using them in a raspberry pi3. it made it overheated to the point when you touched the card it burnt. I pulled the card out and it fell in 2 bits in my hand! I could have cooked an egg on it Then the other 2 got hot as well. Binned all 3.. So imagine what this shite could do to a Switch which is what it advertises for. Avoid!

El empaquetado es austero, sin embargo llegó en buen estado en el clásico empaque con burbujas de amazon, de los 256 GB solo trajo disponibles 232 GB, de cierto modo es normal dado que todas las tarjetas son similares, lo positivo es que fue súper rápida, simplemente la metí en el Nintendo Switch y descargue los datos que tenía archivados, juegos de menos de 20 GB se descargaban bastante rápido, a la hora de seleccionar un juego lo abre con rapidez y sin problemas, me hubiese gustado comprar una de 512 GB pero me pregunto cuántos serán los reales para ocupar, si alguien tiene respuesta tal vez en futuro adquiera una de esa capacidad. Para finalizar es un buen producto a un buen precio, espero funcione así algunos años

This card became defective after 1 use on my dash cam. I tried formatting it with different file types, using different software in different PCs / notebooks, but nothing worked. Manufacturer has asked me to contact Amazon for replacement, and Amazon is asking me to contact the manufacturer. I am currently being sent on a wild goose chase.TERRIBLE PRODUCT BACKED BY TERRIBLE SUPPORT. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.Wish there was an option to rate below "0".
