HEAD Pirate Junior Premium Youth Mask Fin Snorkel Set with Travel Bag

I purchased a small for my 7 yr old daughter and she is is petite. The fins were a little big, we adjusted them all the way, but the mask seems secure and airtight. The snorkel has a flap at the top to prevent water from getting in when she dives down and it seems to work very well. She swims like a mermaid in this and seems very confident. She has not complained of any issues with the mask or snorkel. Product seems well made and would recommend you spend the extra to get good quality. This was handy when we went on vacation, many snorkel excursions don't come with kid size sets, and the ones they do have are always lower quality. It's better to get the good stuff, otherwise your snorkel adventure just isn't fun when your gear doesn't fit right.

Bought this for my ten year old Grandson to use in our pool. It works great for him. I thought it would take awhile for him to learn to snorkel but he was a natural. These get used by him and his friends and trust me they handle them roughly. Despite that, they have survived the summer completely intact and will be good to go for next summer too. I highly recommend these simply for how well they have stood up to the constant wear and tear of several kids pulling them off and on all day. I have used the mask myself and seals with no problems. Like the bag to store them in also.

I am going to try and be reasonable with this review considering the price and the fact that it's unrealistic to think this is going to be some high-end type snorkeling equipment. However, I had to return them because I did not feel they were sized properly and the fins are horribly constructed. I can see how they would absolutely not last over the course of multiple intense uses.

The rubber on the mask is a bit tight for my 5yo to pull on for herself but it fits properly. I also have to help her adjust the fins since the locking mechanism is pretty sturdy. These aren't exactly criticisms though since it's probably better that it feels sturdy and lasts long than made flimsy and requires replacement too soon. The fins would probably fit her better if I got her some neoprene socks but I couldn't find a suitable size and children's feet grow too quickly that maybe I shouldn't bother. Even though she isn't perfectly comfortable with them yet, she looks forward to using them on weekends when we swim out to a reef where we see fish and sea turtles. I can see her getting more comfortable in them as she gets older since they are just slightly too big for her face.

Real tempered glass lenses, the skirt and stap on the mask is a very soft silicon, snorkel has great features, encluding a whistle which is great for getting attention in a loud environments. Over all a great little set for the money so as long as you get the right model, the double lens version, not the single. I made a video showing the differencess on YouTube.

I bought these for my daughter who is short at 5 1/2 years old. Her shoe size is US11 and the fins fit her well - they are almost the smallest they can go. The mask fits well and seals well. We will get a few years of use out of this set. While she is a fish in the water she is still trying to figure out the snorkel. The quality seems to be very good. I would highly recommend it.

This snorkel set was perfect for my 11 year old boy. The fins were great - they fit his size 2 feet, the mask fit his face well and the snorkel was great - it breathed clearly and didn't allow water in through the top.

My son loves the set, but the mask leaked when snorkeling in the ocean, which made it too difficult for him. The mask was fine in the pool.
