Good quality, de ent price
Old one stopped working so started searching, found this and now I'm not so bothered that the old one died. Multiple Laser points are better and more visible. I may buy another one just in case this one gets damaged

Nice laser level
I’ve never owned a laser level before and bought this one based on the reviews. There are two that Klein manufactures at the price point I was looking at. One with a green and one with a red laser. Based on research, I chose the red laser which cost more than the green. The primary reason was that it was rated better to see the laser at longer distances outdoors. I also purchased the Klein tripod thinking it was unique to this tool. However, a similar (less expensive) tripod will do the trick. The laser attaches with the 1/4 thread to the tripod. Out of the box, set up is simple. After setting up the tripod (used a torpedo level to get it close) attach the level, unlock it and turn it on. As long as your within the parameters the laser level will self level. It has a horizontal and plum lines that can be operated independently or simultaneously. Now as far as distance of the laser, it’s rated to 65’. I used it outdoors at 30’ to install forms for concrete footings. I found very difficult to find the red line at 30’ and needed a black metal stake to find it and was still hard to find even with the dark background. Red laser levels are supposedly better for outdoor use. I became aware that lasers for outdoor use need a detector or beam enhancement glasses after the fact. Those detectors have a price of 80 and up and this would have been well worth the additional cost to save time. As far as the accuracy at longer distances. I split my total length in half by placing the laser in the middle of 70’. The manufacturer specifications for this is ±3/32'' per 33' which is about what I got. Also use caution on windy days as a small breeze will affect the laser and will slightly move the laser. It’s a great tool to have and am happy with it. I cant wait to try it indoors for cabinets.

too heavy for the magnet.
This is a great laser in every way except for the magnet. The magnet is not strong enough for the weight of this laser to hold it to a spackled corner bead. It probably holds fine on a metal stub on a commercial job. I guess I'm used to the Dewalt DW088k that I've had for 10 years that literally sticks to any thin metal. With a tripod is probably the way to go.

Excellent
Perfect Lazer for price range. Easy to see line, stong magnet.

Undecided on what Laser level to get, get the Klein.
If you're reading this review, It's exactly what I was doing prior to deciding on the Klein laser level. I had it narrowed down to a Huepar model and this Klein. The Klein was more expensive but after reading tons of reviews, I decided on the Klein. I chose the Klein because of lots of reviews with the Huepar being negative regarding the longevity of the units. There were tons of these reviews along with issues about how to even turn the unit off. The Klein really only had a few complaints from people not happy with the magnets on the holder. I tried the unit out and feel the magnets are good. The level is easy to use, lights are clear and bright, the plum dots are very helpful, there's a lock on the pendulum, and I feel Klein is a reputable brand. Also, the price was competitive for laser levels with its features. The only option I would have liked to have had was the ability to lock the laser pendulum and tilt the unit in order to use it on an angle. Not a big deal though. I recommend Klein Tools 93LCLG Cross-Line Laser Level.

11/16/2021: Update from belowReceived replacement from Amazon the very next day, awesome! Found that the second unit I received has a plastic/Cellophane wrapping around the whole case and the three batteries included so someone must have opened the previous unit I had delivered yesterday. Installed the batteries and this unit works perfectly! Very happy I purchased. Thanks Amazon for the quick turnaround.11/15/2021: Product received defective. Installed the AA batteries as directed and noticed the horizontal line function wasn’t working so thought maybe the batteries were low so changed them correctly with three new ones and then nothing. After opening the battery compartment noticed that the small metal bus work for the battery connections were broken. Return for another replacement right away and hopefully the new one will be fine.

Love it
Had a Bosch cross hair but it wasn't super helpful for lighting as it did not shoot straight over head. Now I have a dot and a nice straight line for laying out lights close to a wall. I miss having a quick clamp for studs or to clamp to my ladder, but you can still screw this mount onto whatever is available. Unsure of battery life. Hasn't died yet but I've only had it on for around an hour total.

Best value professional laser you can buy.
Full disclosure: I already own a (red) Klein laser of the same type, and my impressions are mostly from that laser. Aside from the different colored laser diode, this laser is identical in every way, it just depends on what laser color you want. I purchased this green laser for better outdoor visibility.Pros:- It's Easy to calibrate this laser model. It's well designed to easily remove the clamshell and reach the axis adjustment screws on the laser pendulum (just make sure the pendulum is locked before opening the clamshell). I've done calibration adjustments on many other laser models of different brands, and this is one of the easiest to do it with, very little hassle.- This laser (both red and green models) is nearly identical to a Dewalt model that costs far more. Don't get sucked into brand loyalty, this is the same hardware, in a different package, for less money.- Durable construction that is entirely dust-proof and mostly waterproof, the clamshell has a gasket inside it to prevent water ingress from rain or water splashes.Cons:- Would be nice to be able to use the laser in the locked position (for laying out handrails or whatever). You may be able to modify the laser to do this, but it should be a standard feature on every cross-line laser.- Red diode for the plumb laser is a bit odd, but it's not a significant issue, I assume it was to cut the cost of the laser while retaining features. I've never reached such a height from the laser where I can't see the red vertical dot, that's beyond the range that you should be using a plumb laser, anyways.I'm a professional who uses laser levels every day, and I recommend the Klein laser models to everybody looking to buy a laser. If you're trying to buy something in the $100-$300 range, I think this offers the best value of any brand or model.

Exactly as described
Great unit. Plumb dots are such a great added feature and the green beam is so much better than red in daylight. Would recommend this product especially for the average DIY person wanting good quality without the massive price tag.
