I like this a lot. I didn’t realize how much lag or spooling up you have with gas-powered tools. You press the throttle and have to wait a second or two for it to be fully up to speed. With electric, it seems like it’s spinning at full-speed just as soon as you think about it much less press the throttle. It’s really nice and I didn’t know how annoying it was before until I tried electric.Anyway, this tool specifically has its weight well balanced so it’s easy to maneuver. The controls and touch points work well and feel ergonomic. The shaft is plenty long for a taller dude (I’m 6’2” and it’s plenty comfortable).The trimmer has plenty of power. I used it to not just trim the grass that had been growing for a while, but also to “push back” the soil that had migrated on top of my driveway and it worked fine for stirring all that up, so I could clear it with the blower.The blower could use a little more power. I was able to clear everything from the driveway, but you just have to use a little patience.Battery life was no issue at all. I have a smallish lawn, but it was a little overgrown, so it had to do a lot of work in cutting back the growth and blowing the trimmings away. It handled that with no sign of slowing down. I’d say 90% of homeowners will be a-ok with this battery.I'm posting this review after only one use, so I can't comment on longevity/durability.========Update: After nearly 8 years of use, the both tools continue to work, I'm still on the ORIGINAL battery!!, the battery still has enough storage capacity to do my lawn with both trimming and blowing. I've had to replace the charger once. It shorted out somehow. No big deal. Overall very pleased with how well it has held up. I've had to replace the caps for the trimmer head numerous times. That's ok, though. Kind of to be expected. Biggest beef is with the line feed. It doesn't feed at all no matter how you load/bump it. I have to stop every time I need to feed line, which means that I'm stopping every several feet. Very annoying. For that reason I intend to upgrade the trimmer, but it's still functioning ultimately. Still very pleased.
