Definitely purchase this item. I made the mistake of just buying the bump head replacement part as that, by the reviews, seemed to me to be what I needed to fix the problem. While I was able to reload a complete trim wire once with that part, it failed immediately after that. This is the real deal. If I can get 4-5 years out of this, like I did with the original equipment, it will have been worth the extra cost. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fits on the ST1620 to convert to bump feed *by R***4 on June 24, 2025* This will fit on the ST1620 Auto Line IQ 16" String trimmers. I can confirm.The motor shaft on the ST1620 still has the groove for the c-clip so you can install this kit to convert your Line IQ to a Bump Feed trimmer. No modification needed.
