COLD, Powerful, Sleek, Easy!!!
My husband and I recently purchased a large 1920s cottage with no HVAC, and our window unit was too large for the upstairs windows. The windows only open 12" tall, and finding a small enough window unit was pointless as we would sacrifice both efficiency and power with such a small unit. SO. Enter the portable AC unit!I scoured Amazon and other stores for 2 days, until deciding upon this winner. Delivered in 3 days and thankfully the box plus unit inside were in perfect shape - not that that would be a store's fault if they weren't.Total installation took 10-15 minutes. :-)I had to trim the window slider as even the shortest default length was a bit too long for our windows lol. I used wire cutters and it was easy peasy. This unit has some serious wind power and blows COLD COLD COLD! We run a couple box fans just to help circulate air, and holy cats. We left our bedroom door open last night and woke up to a cold room and upstairs in general!! We're sooo happy with this unit and I'm so glad we snagged it while on sale, too!The remote is awesome and you can stop the automatic oscillating vents at any position if desired. The dehumidifier mode works great too! We keep a regular dehumidifier running 24/7 downstairs and having this AC plus dehumidifier option upstairs is exactly what we needed!GET YOU ONE! :-)

It's noisy and does not even cool small bedroom.
Do not buy this product. It won't even cool down small bedroom and it's noisy. The remote control numbers says that it will go lower than the air conditioner will. I'm so disappointed!

Arizona heat
110° plus is normal for the summer here in Arizona. I bought this unit as a second one for my living room area and the 14,000 BTU unit works better than expected easy to unboxed sets up quite nicely the exhaust hose fittings or well-designed and the remote control is very effective for making adjustments. The auto setting that this unit has is very useful when the temperatures cool off in the evening I plan to buy another one as it is more effective than the one I purchased from a big box store

Good product but could be colder.
Easy install. However it's not as cold as other models I've had. I was expecting a little cooler temperature as well. At least going down to 60 degrees. Other than that it's easy to use, looks very clean and stylish and so far after 1 week of use it has lasted just fine.

Good cooling, easy installation and decently low energy consumption
We have around 400 sqft that this unit cools very well. On really hot days it can struggle to keep up if you don’t have much insulation in the room you are cooling. Noise level seems very minimal or perhaps I’m just used to it now. Im very happy with the purchase still and would recommend this unit to anyone with a small area to cool. My monthly electricity bill hasn’t really changed since the install either which is a welcomed surprise.

Disappointed
I have a similar 14k btu portable unit by another company in another, same-sized room that's worked great for 2 summers and keeps the room well under 70 except for the hottest days. This one was more expensive but I wanted that power you get with 14k, thought it would be worth it. This has never cooled the room below 70. It was fine when I got it in May '21 but of course it's hotter now. Also it doesn't dehumidify anymore. I live in the north east, so it's not ridiculously humid outside most days. After days of flooding/towels I bought a hose for the back and it fills a bucket with 1-2 gals. of water every 10 hrs. And the remote isn't strong enough to work from across the room, so it's pointless. I used to have an 8k btu window unit in this room and it cooled about as well. I hate writing a bad review but air conditioning is so important to me as I'm in my 60's and have breathing issues.

Received damaged unit, TCL replaced after warranty process. Works great.
When buying portable AC units it's important you look at the DOE BTU's not the BTU's they always immediately advertise. Often enough a 14,000 BTU portable AC is actually 7,000 - 9,000.PROS* 600sqft apartment is nice and cool* easy to use remote* oscillating (up and down) fan vent* Not too big for a 14,000 btu unit.* one of the better looking unitsCONS* A bit on the louder side, expected as it's literally a big AC unit inside your room.* The fan vents on top of the unit are not great at shooting the air forward, mainly up or at an angle.* only a 5' exhaust hose included, this is standard but I'm still complaining.Swap the exhaust hose for something more insulated is my recommendation, plenty on Amazon. Hose included is 5" diameter, if you get an insulated one get 6" and clamps.

Gets cold
I’ve been using these since may 2021. I bought three because the house I live in doesn’t have AC. It’s now august 2021. They have worked reliably everyday and night. They make the room COLD! No issues with them whatsoever. They are loud though.
