very good at keeping kids happy
Firstly I must point out it takes 7 AA batteries 3 in the truck two in the handset and two in the ratchet ,its the ratchet that has the highist drain so if your getting this make sure these are high power .From the time of opening my grandson has not put this down ,enjoying the fact that he can dissasemble and reassemble at his command. at times its been like a quick fit garage wheels off wheels on back off and on . it was a while before he even used the remote control function .The siren activated either by the remote or a button on the truck is better than the average you find on emergency toy vehicles . its quite solid in construction and the wheels cant lose thier nuts as thier fixed together. He's had this a month now and the only batteries that we have to replace is the ratchet ( hence get high power ).The only drawback is the lack of steering it goes foreward in a straight line and turns on the reverse but for the price it has been an exellent toy giving him hours of fun .Definitly recomend .

Great quality at a good price, kid adores it
Bought this for our 3 year old but expected him to struggle with concepts like the electric screwdriver. He'd seen daddy using a real drill last weekend and of course he wanted a go too. He's not let this go since it came out of the box and has been happily screwing and unscrewing the bolts on the wheels and body. He got the concept of it immediately and even gets the direction switch too. This toy is solidly built and works very well, for the price (£19.99) it's a proper bargain. It does require 7 AA batteries though for all 3 parts. I expect the ones in the drill will need replacing before long...10/10 for little tinkerers.

Brilliant loads to do. Easy to use
This is brilliant, easy controls to drive . Really good and easy tools to take the wheels of and put back ok. Really lovely fier engine. It also has a little fireman to go in the truck and the window opens to put it in and out. Also came with a spare screw. Really great toy my 4 year old loves it

Two thumbs up from my toddler
What's more to say... It's a remote controlled, easy to use, slow enough for a toddler to use AND has a tool to take the wheels off! Brilliant stuff.Only slight issue is that it's very American with the American fire truck noises. But my toddler doesn't care about that so thumbs up from him.

Great play value but not sure of longevity
I purchased this as a birthday present for my two year old and it’s one of his favourite toys. He loves removing the wheels and finds it relatively easy to do. I am not sure how durable it will be though as it’s very temperamental and often does not turn on .

3 and a half year old and 6 year old love it
Both kids especially my 3 year old boy hasn't put it down since the purchase. Its much stronger then the one I originally had intended. He's really all of a sudden developed a fascination for fire engines so this has been a good purchase and he's loving the drill and the remote too. Good for his motor skills development.

Much appreciated!
I bought this for my 3yo grandson and he hasn't stopped playing with it. With the help of his dad, he quickly mastered the remote control but has particular fun using the tools - he dismantles and dad does the reassemby!Anyway, if he's happy, then so am I....IMHO, this toy is reasonably priced and well made.
