The colors are absolutely gorgeous. One of my cats slept in it the entire day I worked the first day we got it! Now they fight over it!

I'll admit, I had one of the other brand caves for a while and it was nice, but it was not as nice as this Felt Cave! This Felt Cave is 100% wool and it's very, very sturdy in a way that my old one was not. As you can see, I like to hide in it sometimes and other times I like to flatten it. My old one was flattened so many times that it doesn't really hold its shape anymore but the Felt Cave pops right back to normal when I'm ready for it to!Aside from it being nice and sturdy and thicker than my old cave, I love that it is was hand-made by artisans in Nepal and is 100% biodegradable, renewable, and is certified cruelty-free New Zealand wool. I may be biased but I think the grey looks perfect and its one of the rare types of cat furniture that looks as classy and modern as lots of human furniture, so if you're looking for something your cat will love while matching your decor, you can almost certainly find a color of Felt Cave that will work perfectly in your home. One question I get asked about a lot from friends who have seen the cave is whether or not it can easily be washed. Fortunately, we haven't had to wash ours yet but I spoke with the company and they said that you can definitely hand wash it in lukewarm water, then press out as much moisture as you can, shape it back to the shape you want, and once it dries its ready to go!

The media could not be loaded.  My cat really enjoys this new cat cave. Since it's the middle of summer, he uses it more in the bowl shape, like a very cozy bed. It's super comfortable for him to curl up on. I know in winter in Colorado he'll enjoy crawling inside for naps.

The media could not be loaded.  Cricket LOVES the cave. He sleeps in it, plays in it, and spy’s on it from me 😻 I’m impressed with the size, cozy enough for him to feel safe in there but also very roomy in there for him to move around.

The cave was big enough for my 16 pound Maine Coons, I did not have to enlarge the opening and the cats easily fit. I only ordered one cave and have two Maine Coons however so have to order a second because one cat is very unhappy. This is highly recommended!

This is a definite winner! This is possibly the first time my Bengal has preferred the thing that came inside a cardboard box over the cardboard box itself. Minutes after opening, I put the box next to the felt cave as a test. He mostly ignored the cardboard box, and he jumped in the felt cave, purring, pawing at it, and rolling around.My cat weighs about 16# (healthy weight), and the cave is plenty big enough for 2 cats his size to curl up inside. Or for 1 cat that likes a little extra leg room.I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered, but it turns out this product seems pretty robust. The door opening is extra thick, but the whole thing is heavier than I was expecting.Overall, I like it, my cat likes it, and I may buy a second one in the medium size to give my cat the choice of roomy or cozy fit.

I bought this because I have an expensive hand-knotted doormat and she would NOT leave it alone! She would bunch it all up and bunny kick the bejesus out of it, to my horror. So first I bought her a wool placemat, the cheap route. She never even sniffed it. Then I bought her wool balls but she would bite and tear at it, and the fuzz got EVERYWHERE Plus, she still played with my rug. Then I saw the cat cave and though it's a bit pricey, I really thought she would love it, and she does. However, she's a big chicken and won't go inside it. Plus, when she would play with the bed itself, if she even barely touched the top it would cave in. Ultimately, she just walked on top of it., and it squashed down into a perfect circular bed. Except for when we go to bed at night in my bed, if she is sleeping, she is ALWAYS sleeping in that bed, plus she bunny kicks that now, instead of my rug. YMMV, because she is extra obsessed with wool. I can't say your cat will love it. Id try the wool balls first. If they really like those wool balls then I'd go for the cave.

I am so impressed with the quality of this cat cave bed. It is much more sturdy and heavy duty than I thought it would be. Most of all, my cats love it. In fact they fight over it so I may need to buy 2! It came packaged very nicely and included a bonus toy mouse that my cats also love. It also has a pleasant smell and looks inconspicuous in any room. I would recommend this to anyone with a cat and if you are considering any kind of cat bed, this is the one!

Came with a free cat toy which unfortunately the cats preferred to the bed. Have had more success with it after adding a thick mat for the base.

I realized my kitty didn’t have a warm cave-bed for winter. I love my Glerups felted slippers so much because they keep my icy feet warm, so I decided to go with the more expensive Feltcave bed. Lily likes being warm and will sometimes crawl under the covers. Once it arrived Lily hopped into it and didn’t leave for hours. So I immediately ordered a second Feltcave for my second floor. Lily loves these beds and she loves being all cosy inside the cave. The beds are substantial, thick, sturdy, warm and worth every penny. My felted slippers cost 1/3 more than the beds, for example, so I don’t find them particularly expensive. Also, I love that the beds are handmade by Nepali women in Katmandú. You’ll see from the photos that Lily sometimes curls up on top of the downstairs bed. A great gift for the beloved cats in your life.

This felt creation is just perfect. A wonderfully thick and warm place for my cat to have a nap in. As a small bonus a felted mouse was added that she immediately started to play with. The hand craftsmanship is excellent, the felted wool is thick and as colourful as the images online suggest they are. The mouse toy that was added also has all the little touches to make it look very much like a mouse. I barely had the cave out of the packaging before my cat was jumping into it. Hey I wonder if they would make these people sized?

My cat absolutely loves it. She's older now and needed something close to the ground and this is perfect! She loves cave style beds now. 5 stars for sure. There was a little bit of an animal smell at first but it wasn't strong and could barely notice it.

The Feltcave is a huge hit with our girls! There is actually 2 in there, but Jezebel was instantly infatuated with the bonus mouse we got with it and couldn't be bothered by paparazzi. Judith was trying to get in it as we unboxed it, and has only poked her head out for the pic.The girls are toasty warm, plenty of room for the 2 of them and this was definitely worth the money!
