I bought this specifically because it said it was dishwasher safe, but when the cup arrived it said hand wash only on the bottom. I read plenty of reviews and answers to questions where people said they put it in the dishwasher without any issues, but I wanted to make sure before I accidentally destroyed this not cheap cup by running it through the dishwasher. I went to the Simple Modern website and it reads, “We do not recommend that you put our products in the dishwasher. While it won't hurt the internal properties of our products, it could cause damage to the exterior or damage the powder coating. Our lids and accessories are top rack dishwasher safe.”That is pretty different than the Amazon description that reads, “Dishwasher Safe: The tumbler, internally threaded insulated lid, and silicone straw are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.” This seems a little misleading to me and needs to be clarified on Amazon. It feels almost like false advertising, as I came close to returning this cup when I saw the hand wash only label on the bottom because, like most moms, I don’t have a lot of extra time and the time I do have I don’t want to spend it handwashing all sorts of my son’s dishes and eating utensils.Now to the cup, I bought this for my 2 year old son since he just decided one day that he was done with sippy cups. It is a good quality cup and the design is nice. My son loves it and drinks more now just so he can use it. I love that the straw is silicone since he likes to chew on straws and it is great that it comes with an extra straw. My only issue with this cup is that there is not a stopper for the straw so he is constantly unintentionally pulling the straw out while he chews on it and then brings me the cup to fix it. This is not a deal breaker, but it is annoying and could easily be fixed with a stopper or a thicker straw that is not as easy to pull out.

These are wonderful! Well made, no smell, easy to clean, came with 2 straws for each cup! Will definitely be ordering more.My 3yr old loves these and so do I, safe silicone straw, grippy silicone straw opening on the lid. So far no spills.

$14 for a cup? I can't believe I did that. Read, read, read because pictures are deceiving. I usually read all of the reviews but missed it on this one and they got me. I would have never paid for this if I were more conscious. I thought it was a pack for my toddler. Sad

My son has ASD and is obsessed with the solar system. He also doesn’t like change but he loved this cup. As soon as he saw it he got excited and he’s been drinking more since I got it so I know he is really hydrated now. Haven’t used for anything warm but it does keep his cold stuff cold for a long time. Haven’t had any leaks and he will leave his cup anywhere. Very easy to clean. *update* I just wanted to come back and say that after reading some of the reviews about leaks I want to say I have purchased and received my 2nd cup since my last review because we loved it so much and I still haven’t had one leak yet and every other cup we have used has leaked. I did purchase the cup with the straw and it’s a tight seal when the straw is inserted. I also saw where others were saying it’s hard to clean, I hand wash and use a straw brush for the straw and the straw hole in the lid. Give these cups a chance before you let 1 or 2 negative reviews sway your decision.

The media could not be loaded.  I love the twist on lid and the cup. They fit great and very little leaking. I thought I would love the straw since it wasn't plastic and my son couldn't just bite it and flatten it out, but it doesn't have any "straw locks" on it so he either pulls it out or more annoyingly, pushes it down into the cup! So then I need to twist the lid open, fish it out and then put it back only to have my son do it again. If the straw was somehow attached or unable to be removed I would love this cup.

My kids kept stealing my SM tumbler, so I purchased two of these fun kid-size ones for them.PROS: They’re easy to clean, don’t spill based on how my kids use them (an accidental elbow knock over and usual quick pick up), the straw is soft and flexible, the metal is high quality and I can tell these will last a long time, helps my kids stay hydrated on short trips in the car, and they’re cute!CONS: I don’t know if I’d recommend this for toddlers or younger, as the metal is solid and heavy- might not be best for the constant chucking that this age does! The lid can also be tricky to get off and on, since it has such a tight seal. It often requires me getting it loosened a bit for my kiddos to go fill up their own cups. It still doesn’t stop my little guy from stealing my SM, lol!

I love these cups!! They are such a perfect transition from sippy cups. They are pretty spill proof so my house stays clean, but they look like adult cups so my daughter is happy. They come in super cute designs, keep her drink pretty cold, and held up through drops, car trips, and a vacation. At one point my daughter slept with her cup and it did not leak onto the mattress at all! The second straw comes in handy as well since that’s what gets gross during meal times. I have only hand washed the cups, and she only drinks water with them so they have stayed very clean.

So I actually love this cup but eventually it started leaking which was annoying because it did SO well in the beginning then gradually started to leak when tipped.But my biggest annoyance with it is that the piece that the straw goes into now has black mold growing on it in multiple spots that I absolutely cannot get off. I tried using my finger nail, a straw brush, a knife! Nothing will get it off almost like it's just ingrained into the damn silicone. And I wash it every night so I'm not sure why this is happening or what to do about it 🙃

Ho acquistato questa tazza per dare un alternativa a mio figlio al posto del biberon. È stato subito un successo, gli è piaciuta tantissimo e ha continuato a bere il latte sia a colazione che la sera a letto senza problemi che si rovescia. I colori sono molto vivi e belli e ha una cannuccia di ricambio molto utile.

Vem apenas 1 vaso com 2 palhinhas. Em todas as fotos aparecem 5 e em nenhum lugar diz que vem apenas 1, o que é altamente enganador. O vaso é de boa qualidade, mas fiquei decepcionada quando só chegou 1.

Es ist schon mein zweiter Becher der Marke und ich habe nun auch für mich den Kinderbecher bestellt da die Größe für einen Kaffee perfekt ist.Das Getränk bleibt super lange warm bzw kalt bei einem Eiskaffee und hält aufjedenfall auch dicht. Liebe ich :)
