The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions And Distortions Paperback – November 30, 2004

What I loved about this book is the fact that unlike disturbing questions like in his "The New Pearl Harbor" which I to have read...this one was done after the government got done with their FINAL assessment. He did an excellent job taking FACTS to prove that the Council of 13 (the 9/11 Commission) did indeed muster up a report that just took the Bush admin at it's word despite many many facts that proved otherwise. The 9/11 CoverUp Commission was a sham and he proved it with hard core facts! The best thing is that he did it without the use of words like illuminati and so forth which usually throws people off, however, they do exist and I am glad he left it alone because I was able to take every person on the committee and with reference to a Council on Foreign Relations membership list...7 out of the 13 of these people were illuminated through this organization. Out of the 6 left over none of them were chairman or vice chair either, just regulars on the committee. Not to mention General Ralph Eberhardt, Commander of NORAD-illuminated through the CFR, General Richard Myers and General Montigue Winfield - both illuminated through the CFR. SO it was interesting how when Sen Bob Kerry was "questioning" General Eberhardt with soft soap style manners it was quite interesting to know why...CFR questioning CFR always goes in the favor of the CFR........ I digress, however, but I will say this book has given me so much more to combat then what I previously had to go on which was still enough to know that the government (and I don't just blame Bush and his illuminated cronies it was planned many years probably while Carter or somebody else was in office by other illuminated cronies, it was just Bush 43 when they decided to set sail with those procedures) was at fault for why 3,000 people lost their lives that day and why our nations brave military (I served in the Air Force for 6 years so I am not someone who has not seen combat) soldiers are fighting a war with no direct enemy...basically hunting nothing all so that they can nation build, steal oil, and push their globalist agenda. This book is a MUST READ for anyone who wants to stop believing what is told to them and start taking in the truth...The truth is not always pretty, but it doesn't make it any less true now does it folks!

David Grifin's analysis of the Kean-Zelikov bipartisan Report of the events leading up to the highjackings of four aircraft on September 11, 2001, is a "must read" for anyone concerned with the subsequent history of the Bush Administration and the "War on Terror." All may not be as we initially were lead to believe: That fundamental Muslims with the desire to bring down America, plotted a massive terror event that culminated in the plane crashes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the fields of Pennsylvania. This conventional wisdom, supported by the media reporting immediately following the catastrophe, and subsequently "documented" by the Kean-Zelikov Report as analyzed in detail by Dr. Griffin is shown to be laced with omissions of fact, distortions of events, and the rewriting of the history leading to and during September 11, 2001.Dr. Griffin's analysis demonstrates that the "non-partisan" 911 Report is anything but non-partisan. The chief staff person to the committee, Mr. Zelikov, was and is a Republican White House operative who had worked with Condellesa Rice, and who subsequently became a consultant to the Natinal Security Agency. His manipulation of the factual material, his direction of the process toward the pre-concieved conception of the causes of the 9-11 events, and his organization of the material to obscure military and intelligence failures on the part of the US Government is shown by Dr. Griffin to be, if not a complete whitewash of many failures in the US response, at least an inadequate and biased analysis of only some of the available information about the many factors that pre-dated the 9-11 events and followed from them. Dr. Griffin points out the resourcefulness of Mr. Zelikov to obscure factors that might be critical of the Bush Administration, and implies that the conspiracy to highjack planes and bomb America may be wider than the al Quaeda connection.The text is not a late night page turner. The reader must attend to the facts and compare this text with the original Kean-Zelikov Report if the full value of the information is to be garnered. Spending the effort, however, will yield valuable insight into the workings of the current Administration, the failure of the American media to review what was before thier eyes, and the reluctance of the Republican controlled Congress from 2001 to 2006 to provide the American people with the legislative oversight of the Executive that the Constitution of the United States demands. This book puts forward a truly horrifying proposition - that the government of the Unites States, or a group of powerful men within the government, either set up the 9/11 attacks or were complicit in them, the purpose being to provide a casus belli against Saddam Hussein. The author shreds the 9/11 Commission Report, which strongly resembles the Warren Commission set up after the assassination of President John F Kennedy. Both Commissions had already made their minds up before they even started their work, that they were going to find in favour of the official version, and ignore any evidence to the contrary. The idea that a democratically elected government would deliberately set out to murder thousands of its own citizens in order to justify the War on Terror is terrible to consider, but the author does a brilliant job of making you think that is indeed what did happen

An absolute must read for everybody. I had doubts about the truth of these events from the very beginning when I first saw the news coverage of what we were told happened at the Pentagon, and also the very obviously controlled way the twin towers fell. Any book about 9/11 by David Ray Griffin should be mandatory reading.

I use this book as a reference book. I like DRG's style, easy to get to the salient points and there's no waffle. Just what I wanted.
