I just got into miniatures and this book has given me so many ideas! The pictures are amazing to just look at and the amount of information in the book is great! I poured over it when I got it and now I'm going back to get more details to keep honing my miniaturists skill!

Great for the seasoned builder and great points on making items! This book has plans for houses in 1 inch scale which is always a plus for me. Very helpful.

I bought this book for the doll pattern more so than the doll house patterns. It definately met my expectations and I am excited to get started.

Está encuadernado en pasta dura y contiene infinidad de fotografías y los planos para hacer 3 modelos de casa de muñecas.Son tres modelos muy básicos para los que, en mi opinión, tener el plano aporta poco, básicamente son cajas con estanterías. Otro problema es que, al ser la edición inglesa, las medidas vienen en pulgadas.Las fotos son muy bonitas y sirven para coger ideas.Este libro me hubiera encantado hace 10 años; ahora mismo hay tanta información en internet que es difícil descubrir algo especial en un libro.

This book is excellent for anyone wishing to build their dolls-house from the ground up. It is clear that the writers believe that a dolls-house is a labour of love, and they write in a clear instructional style without managing to be patronising. The book covers all the basics of dolls house design, construction and decoration. It offers advice on pretty much any aspect of the dolls house, and for any budget. Whether you want to buy all your furniture or fancy turning your hand to a bit of woodworking, this book covers both ends of the spectrum. It is an excellent place to start if you feel like building yourself a dolls-house but just don't know where to start. I would recommend this book to anyone who feels like designing their very own, personal dolls-house.

The only thing I can say is that it looked like a used book. Regardless it has amazing info on dollhouses and patterns.

Brilliant book but I already have a copy! Silly me! I'll find a fellow enthusiast to give it to. The book is beautifully illustrated. The instructions for the projects are clear and concise and no more adventurous than chairs, tables and fireplaces. My favourite section is on how to make dolls to scale. I'm doing that just now. I bought the book because I'm building Doll's house Emporium Garden View which is the basement for Lakeside, a modern house. I recently put together a 1:12 motorbike and it looks great sitting outside the large window. I'm going to put a small shower room and a foldaway bed inside as it's not a big area. Geoff, the biker will enjoy the basic living quarters because the main attraction of his holiday home is the rooftop garden. There is a beautiful garden project in this book which is why I have created a garden space. It's so stunning that I want mine like that! The book is great for all skill levels and well worth buying.

Useful book for a number of miniature projects. Easy to follow with lots of clear photos and diagrams.
