It's all I needed.
Our city water isn't all that bad but admittedly the treatment plant can't remove forever chemicals, pharmaceuticals or pesticides/herbicides. This works perfectly for my needs. I don't need an expencive full reverse osmosis system. Its NSF certifed. I don't notice less water flow. A dedicated faucet isn't neccasary. Easy install. Inexpencive. Lasts a good while 6-12 months. What else is there to say.

Purifies and improves the taste of city and well water.
Bought 3 systems used in rental homes. They work great. I've a main water filtration system on the property for the well. I've added this system at each kitchen sink just as an added filtration for renters that prefer it. I also have one on my house that is on city water. It makes a big difference in the taste as it takes out the chlorine and other chemicals.

Great tasting water. Easy enough installation...
Living in NYC where water taste super mineral-ly and has all kind of salts and chlorine, I got tired of buying gallons of water. Came across this filter at a price one can't beat: it paid itself off in 3 months or less. Everything was included exept the drill bid to make the whole onto the counter top. 25 bucks that cost. But after that, it was an easy connection, the hose goes in tight and don't come out unless you pull the inset and the hose. After just 2 weeks I opened that filter to see what was inside, and found about 1 inch of sediments on the first cartage.

Fooled a 2nd Time!
Purchased on June 22, 2025. This was the 2nd try after the 1st one leaked. Same results, same place. Really wanted to like this. For over a decade my favorite filter was the ProOne® PM100-IC Inline Connect Refrigerator Water Filter whose filtering specs couldn't be matched and had twice number of gallons filtered limit comared to most but they discontinued filter and it can't be found anywhere in stock. I began my search for a new favorite and after hours and hours of research decided that this one should be as close or possibly better. When I received this, my 1st one, it performed very well and the water looked and tasted fantastic, but it developed a leak around the part where the filter twists into the housing. It's not an installation issue. The housing and filter align as they should with arrows mathcing and the fit is snug, not over tight. Such a shame!

Much better than Ronaqua kit
BUY THIS KIT!!!, DO NOT BUY RONAQUA KIT!!!!!!!! I purchased Ronaqua kit and had to return it. Replaced it with this kit. Wow, what a difference!! This filter kit is awesome. Comes with everything you need. Ronaqua kit is incomplete, you will need to go buy extra parts. This kit even comes with auto shutoff valve if you ever get a leak. Comes with T connection that works with 1/2 and 3/8 fittings. Ronaqua connection is only 1/2 to 1/2. Most undersink connections are 3/8. This kit comes with GREAT instructions including filter break in procedure, and vacation procedure. Ronaqua instructions are horrible with very little info. This kit has proper water flow direction. Water should go into canister 1st, then thru outside of filter, and out thru center of filter. Ronaqua goes inside filter 1st, then out to canister. Way less surface area inside filter than outside. Shipped in 2x thick boxes and everything is packaged nicely. Ronaqua kit is in super flimsy box and everything was loose, banging around, not packaged well at all. Thank you Express Water, you have saved me many headaches. This is exactly what I wanted

Use this instead of a refrigerator filter
I have the Express Water reverse osmosis system under my sink and I unfortunately couldn't get that water to my refrigerator. I hung this system on the wall behind the fridge and feed this water to it instead of using the underwhelming and over priced filter that the fridge comes with. The result was surprising. I live in Chandler, AZ (Phoenix area) where the tap water is very acrid tasting and has lots of sediment in it. The water out of this system is totally drinkable to the point that I'm alternating between the RO water and this direct system. The ice comes out relatively clear (not quite RO ice clear, but surprisingly close) and does not leave any sediment in the glass as it melts. The big plus is my filter change will cost about $20 less every six months compared to buying a much much smaller filter that's supposed to be installed in the fridge. So my ROI will come in two and a half years. The bigger benefit is the water just tastes better. I do just wish this was offered without the faucet at a reduced cost. Also, mine came without the leak stop valve. I called Express Water and they quickly sent that part out.

Worked Well Initially
Easy to install, water tasted a little metallic at first but after about an hour it was tasting fine. Because we installed it at the main kitchen faucet, we used the filtered water for drinking, cooking, cleaning, washing our hands. This may have impacted the fact that the water started to taste like chlorine after about 2 weeks of use instead of the advertised 6 months. Flow rate was not impacted at all. We decided to return this filter and bought the 3 stage filter instead because it had a separate faucet. Hopefully that will last longer since we will only be using that for drinking water.

Nice filtration system
Been searching for a filtration system for awhile. This unit is really nice and simple to install. Price, performance and we can definitely tell a difference in taste. Check it out.
