camera seems to work fine butyield nothing but constant problems attempting to access vids
Instructions clearly state to copy vids onto computer to view rather than playing directly from unit to avoid file read problems. But even reading them long enough to copy and paste is ridiculously time consuming as it takes many repeated attempts to get the job done without failure. I've spent an hour and a half to get five 3min vids off the unit. The design of the slot for the memory card is simply cheep and flimsy, though the problem seems to have nothing to do with a failure of connection there.

Never worked; DOA
When I plugged the camera into the outlet, it never powered on. I followed all instructions and even tried to reset it and still, I get no indication that the USB camera is powered on. I may have just received a faulty product, I am in the process of returning it for a full refund.

Clandestine camera for casual surveillance
I like this product a lot. I have to give it 5 stars, because it does the job well. My only gripe is that the USB-A to USB-A cable didn't work to access the videos from the USB-A charge port. I'm convinced it never will, but I've only tried from Windows 10. I had to take the Micro SD card out every time in order to review the video clips, and you probably will too. I still leave it as a 5 because the video quality is surprisingly good and the audio is clear. I don't recall it saying no audio on the listing before (as it does today), but mine definitely records audio as well. I have it set to record only when there is motion, because I'm running the included 32GB SD card. It is very convenient that it also comes with the micro SD card reader (USB 2.0 speeds). The good thing about the way it works is that it will continue to record as long as there is motion. I have other higher priced cameras that can't even manage to do that. You might get a clip when the initial action would occur and then gaps (or nothing when you really needed to see what was going on the most), but that is not an issue with this device. There is a dip switch for continuous recording or motion activated, so the setting is easy to change. While it is not totally hidden, the camera lens is hard to discern. The device does have some sort of backup power so that video still gets stored when you unplug it, but I'm guessing it is just a tiny battery or large capacitor. The USB charging works as you would expect (1-2Amps at 5V or 5-10Watts), but in my experience things get a little warmer than traditional USB chargers. The difference is negligible, but I noticed because I already knew it was no ordinary charger. You'll also want to make sure you don't plug it in upside down. If someone doesn't expect there to be a camera there, then it would not be suspected to be a camera. It looks like a USB charger, especially from a distance. The color image quality, even in lower lighting, was a bit of a shock to me. I just wasn't expecting it to be very good, even though 1080p should be 1080p. But with that said, if this device is in a high traffic area then you may only get 1-2 days worth of footage on a 32GB card. You could possibly be get 24 hours on continuous, but I don't need that for my use case. 24 hours isn't very far back to be able to go to see if something was off kilter. Still, that isn't bad at all. My use case is to see which of my children left the fridge/freezer open (and how long it was left open). It is unfortunate that you always have to unplug it and take out the SD card, but I don't need access to the video very often. I'm sure there are lots of other creepy or illegal ways to use these type of little "hidden" camera devices, but I would caution against such use cases personally. I think very highly of this product. I've had it about for about 6 months or so, and it is pretty cool.

Limited by your outlet locations, otherwise works well
The camera provides clear, color video on an ongoing basis (motion activated). The videos are each about 2 minutes long. It comes with a 32GB micro-SD card as well as a thumb drive to view the files on the computer, and the included card holds about 85 of these 2-minute videos. The instructions are very brief and difficult to understand for a novice; it took me a while to figure out how to use the thumb drive and how to change the date/time on the videos. But once I got the hang of it, it was fairly easy to operate. It looks and functions exactly like a regular UDSB charging plug and it is easy to hide in plain sight. As it is plugged in, it is always charged and ready to go.In bright lighting conditions, the video is sharp; but if the light is lower, it’s a lot harder to see what’s going on. The camera is also frequently triggered by changes in lighting (traffic going by my windows creates flickering shadows in the house on sunny days, providing me with multiple videos of — nothing. The view pretty much shows only what is straight ahead of the camera, with no side-to-side visibility; so, the view is very restricted to what can be seen from directly in front of my electrical outlets (now I know I need to dust under my TV stand). Because of these limitations, this camera is not good enough for situations where you need great detail or accuracy, and location is limited to where you have outlets, unless you want to run an extension cord and give up the covert aspect. This will work well if you just want to, say, track your pets’ activity while you’re gone; but then there’s no need to use a “hidden” camera. But it does what it says it will do and exceeded my expectations, especially considering the cost.

Works great, looks completely innocent
I have to admit, I'm a little terrified of this product. These USB chargers are so ubiquitous, none of us ever pauses to even think about them. And this little camera looks just like an ordinary charger. It will pass completely unnoticed. As much as that thought terrifies me a little, it's also what makes this product so effective. If you're in the market for a hidden camera, this will serve you well. The camera's field of view isn't quite as wide as one might hope, but it's all one could expect from such a product. Similarly, the video quality isn't going to yield any award-winning footage, but it's certainly clear enough that you can see everything you need to see. It does record audio, but low voices or soft sounds will probably give you trouble. At the end of the day, though, for a product like this, the question really is simple: does it do what it's supposed to do? And the answer is yes. If you need to covertly record some video without anyone ever suspecting that your device is a camera, this will absolutely get the job done. As for me, I feel like my study is now a little more secure with this camera watching over my desk, but I'll probably be afraid of USB chargers for the rest of my life!
