Great for my toddler
I bought these to explain the concept of "keys" to my daughter and they have exceeded my expectations. She (and now daughter number two) loves sorting the colors and opening the chests. The most common difficulties I see are that the chests only open by turning one direction which seems unintuitive to my daughter. More importantly, the keys don't insert "in" the key hole like real a key. It's just a shallow match to the shape which allows them to slip out while the kids are turning them which has led to some frustration, confusion, and subsequent disinterest. Usually I end up holding the chest so they can turn the key. I understand this isn't an easy thing to create in a durable kids' toy but it's worth noting to future buyers. They are super durable. The chests and the accessories put up with a lot of abuse and keep going. I'm sure you couldn't stand on them but they've been thrown, dropped, and otherwise between up. I've had to fix one of them in which the latch was pushed apart by a child but other than that they've held up really well.

Great little toy
Got it for my 2.5yr old and she really enjoys it. She struggles opening the chest as she lacks strength in her fingers. At the end she is able to open them. And she just wants to open them again and again. Perfect for a gift.

Pirates, Ms. Rachel, and Learning? Yo Ho Ho, It’s a Hit!
My son is obsessed with this toy. At first, opening the treasure chests was like solving a toddler-level escape room, but a few hand-over-hand tries later, and now he’s a pro. He’s so into it that he plays with it while watching the Ms. Rachel episode featuring this exact toy (Learn Numbers, Colors, Counting, and Shapes with Ms. Rachel). It’s like his favorite celebrity endorsed it—pirate-themed and Rachel-approved? Game over.Treasure and pirates are his jam right now, so this fits the bill perfectly. Plus, it’s sneaky-educational. We talk about numbers, colors, shapes, and counting while he happily pretends to bury or guard his “loot.” It’s basically preschool math class disguised as a pirate adventure. If your kid loves pirates, Ms. Rachel, or just enjoys pretending they’re guarding treasure from Captain Hook, this toy is a must. Warning: you may find yourself saying, “Arrrgh, matey!” more often than you’d like.

Fun, interactive game
I work with preschoolers and they love these treasure chests. There are several skills that can be worked on from numbers, to counting, matching shapes, and colors. The children enjoy unlocking the chests to find the treasure inside. Highly recommend!

Fun for Miss Rachel fans!
Overall I'm glad I brought this toy as my two year old has seen Miss Rachel usethem in her videos. It's fun and engaging, and it teaches your little one how to open different locks. However the sturdiness of the treasure chests aren't the best. And some of the pieces get scuffed very easily, even just gently with your finger nail leave a mark.

Awesome learning toys.
My kids absolutely love these. They made learning so much fun. My kids saw this on Miss Rachel‘s show and absolutely wanted to have them so we went ahead and bought them. They play with them consistently and we’ve had them for a while now. Good quality, very durable.

Broke Easily
This was a fun surprise for my kids. I have a child working on colors and shapes and a more advanced child who just enjoys the fun of keys to unlock the chests and hidden treasure. Unfortunately the locks broke on two of the chests within a month of use which is a shame because both of my kids thought this learning activity was fun. The locking mechanisms in all five chests are either broken or have needed fixed a year after purchase. Two are broken beyond repair because the little wires and plastic locks came off the inside of the chest.

Huge hit with toddlers
My son is currently obsessed with treasure chests so I searched the internet for a treasure chest. I found this even though it wasn’t quite what I was looking for. When it arrived I thought it was a little small. Ended up that my toddler didn’t care. he loves the coins, the treasure and the keys! He also loves saying circle and square and naming the colors. My niece ended up loving it when she came over so I got her one too. Such a small item had so many learning opportunities packed into it and the kids love it
