Needs extreme proofing.
I'm having a hard time getting beyond the atrocious formatting of this book to even appreciate the content. There's a table of contents and that's the only way to know when one subject has ended and another started. It's like this was slapped together overnight, with zero proofing. Photo for example: references an illustration that simply does not exist.

Brilliant
A professor of mine requested that we read this book, in particular some specific chapters. However, I ended up reading it from beginning to end and I found myself not wanting to put it down. It's really informative and found it to be a lot more helpful than the text we were learning from.

Its okay. Writing style could have been bot-generated.
The title does not lie. This is for people who have no conception on anything "network" related and want to gloss over vaguely described "networking" concepts. I feel like its too complicated for beginners on most topics but not in depth enough for anyone wanting to sharpen their chops on the subject. Avoid if you want any type of real world practical examples (the book is written in size 14 font and double spaced a la a college essay), visual representation (besides the attractive front cover), or analysis beyond canned insight (intro to network security begins with a famous FDR quote).

Amazing introduction to networking
This particular book was very well implemented through the chapters. What I liked about the book was the manner each chapter in the book was so intense.
