Angel ShieldToilet Seat Round Wood with Slow Close,Easy Clean,Quick-Release Hinges (Round,Dark Walnut)

I've been doing basic diy everything for about 45 years. During that time, my wife and I discovered that we like wooden toilet seats, so we've had several. When it came time for another one on a new toity I just installed (which came with a cheap seat), thanks to Amazon's availability of so many brands and styles, I came across this brand and the products look brilliant! Great reviews too.It's a bit different in that it's not really solid wood, but it is....it's just chopped up and put back together. Weird, right?Well, no fear, they get much better quality control by doing it this way, and I'm fairly certain it also offers superior durability and lifespan. (The basic solis wood seats do not last forever.... they need replaced occasionally, just fyi as they say).Anyway, it turns out that it's beautiful, solid as a rock, the hardware all looks like great quality, and it all goes together easily.That's all I was looking for.

Great color. Easy to install. However, the entire seat doesn’t seem to stay in plsce. I’ve disconnected twice and it still doesn’t stay in plsce.

Bought this last year for guest bathroom that we don't use that much. This year we are doing work in primary bathroom and using the guest bathroom.The seat is too short, it doesn't cover the rim of the toilet. This causes the plastic bumpers on the bottom of the seat that rest on the rim of the toilet to be off. Less than half of the from bumpers sits on the rim of the toilet. Since the fasteners won't stay tight, once the seat shifts, it slides of the bumpers and the wood of the seat slams down on the rim.This is the correct size seat for the toilet. The toilet is round and it's a round seat, so it's not an issue with us buying the wrong size.Otherwise, it looks great and the seat itself is solid. Maybe we just go a defect. It will be great as long as you don't use it.Others have complained about the same issue.I would NOT recommend this toilet seat.

The media could not be loaded.  I'd give it 5 stars except it's peeling. I purchased this same toilet seat, in a different color in 2021. I loved it. It's nice & sturdy. Easy to take off to clean. So I decided to purchase another in 2022. This 2nd time I wasn't so lucky, . A few months after my husband put it on, it started peeling at the seem. Unfortunately I couldn't return it. After the toilet seat arrived, it sat in a box for 3 months until my husband switched out the old one for this new one. Afew months later it started peeling. At this point, it was way beyond the deadline to request a return. So I tried to super glue it & this was the result. Now I have to purchase another. I feel this toilet seat was not put together as well the the other one I have, which by the way, isn't peeling.

It seems to be really sturdy and it was easy to install. This senior lady had no problem with the directions and tools provided. If there was any "complaint" is that it is very high gloss. Not my preference but I know from previous experience, it will dull down some with time.

High gloss finish. Soft close seat. Seats comfortably.Would prefer options on metals used. We have oiled bronze not silver.Very good price.Wood color matched the cabinets.

To small for my elongated ToiletShift to right or left when a women sits upon it .screws has been tighten but it continues to shift

This is the most awesome toilet seat I've ever bought. Not that I bought a lot, but so easy to put in to even a dummy like me can do it in no time at all. And it works just like the video says, awesome. product

古い住宅でトイレに電源がなくウォシュレットは付けられず、ならばオシャレなトイレに…と選びました。取り付けも、30分以内でできました。色も手触りも良く、作りもしっかりしています。男の子が多いので、ゆっくり開閉に魅力を感じて購入したのですが、期待通りでバタバタしません。ただ、冬は木製でも便座が冷たいです。他は大満足です。

比較的、女性でも取り付けは簡単です。便座がまあまあ重く、取り付け時、左手の薬指を蓋に挟んでしまい、剥離骨折しました。くれぐれも気を付けて、取り付けください。あと、蓋がゆっくり閉まるので、開けるのも少し重めです。蓋を閉めて流したい人には不向きがも。逆に言えば、バタンと音を立てて閉まらないので、どちらを優先したいかでしょうか。

I bought this specific seat for two features it has advertised, slow close and quick release hinges. This is a comfortable faux wood seat and the slow close does work perfectly. I got the elongated size and it fits my toilet bowl perfectly. I cannot figure out how to use the quick release hinges and I am now doubtful that feature exists. It's not in the instructions at all. I see in other reviews people commented that the seat moved and that caused the bolts holding it to widen the hole beyond repair after the first month, that has not happened to me yet but I do feel like the seat has moved slightly. When I check the bolts they are tight, so it's possible the same thing is occuring, I've had it less than a month so far. If it breaks or gets worse I'll try to update this review otherwise it's holding.
