NOT a replacement for Schmincke tins
I bought this tin as a cheaper alternative to getting the same size in Schmincke tin for my watercolours. Although the lid does shut for now, with how flimsy the metal is, it wouldn't surprise me if it stopped doing that soon. The middle tray bends under the smallest amount of pressure and the metal is very thin. The best part of this purchase was the half-pans which came with the tin, and the half-pans seem relatively sturdy. Do yourself a favour and save up for a Schmincke tin, or buy a set on promotion instead!
