I can't have lecithin because it causes me breathing problems (doc thinks I might be allergic), and it doesn't matter whether it's soy lecithin or sunflower lecithin-- they both mess me up. Virtually every whey powder supplier adds lecithin of some kind to improve mixability, except for a few extremely expensive brands that usually must be bought in excessive bulk. So this is the best compromise for me; taste is meh, doesn't mix well, but hey- it's clean whey protein at a good price. The lack of flavoring or sweetener is ideal for me. I use it in complex whole food smoothies and it adds virtually no flavor to my recipes. I tried it once in a shaker bottle with just water. It mixed up fine with no lumps and tasted like...whey. I would use juice if I had to have something on the go and not made in my Vitamix.
