Herdio 5.25 inch Celing Speakers with Wall Mount Amplifier Set

I wasn’t so sure about these when i got them. Initial testing they seemed a bit anemic and tiney. BUT with a few minor tweeks this little sound system rocks! First! Built solid sturdy speaker boxes to mount in the ceiling. I made mine 12x12x5.5 inches and used a whole can of spray foam on the top exterior of the box to act as a dampener. Second! Give them more power! The included power supply isnt enough to drive the speakers. Get a 12v 10A power supply. Hard wire it with at least 18ga wire. Those two upgrades make the floor vibrate on 3/4 on the volume control. At full volume the sound is great with very very little distortion. This package is a must have for your bathroom, kitchen, mancave, or sheshed. I youtubed “autophile speaker test” (look for the wooden speaker thumbnail) excellent selection to test your installation

The audio setup is way better than I thought it would be. The bass is crisp, and it has fantastic sound for such a compact unit. It holds its own for the price and brings great audio quality to our theater. Setup is very easy, and the Bluetooth feature is nice also.

Before installing into my ceiling I tested this setup on my kitchen island and the sound lacked any bass. I assumed and hoped this was due to it not being in an enclosure of some sort. My guess was right thankfully and this setup sounds great installed. I would buy again for another installation.

The speakers look impressive there large beefy and heavy I wired then in ( I think they should find a better way to install the power as it is kind of cheap to have to plug in the transformer or wire the transformer plug ) if you want a clean install. Getting back to the speakers they are just ok as far as sound quality your not going to be thumping bass or shaking the house. For what they are they do work the sound is on the tinny side even after I adjusted the sound on my phone. So yes for the money they are good and it's all in one so there's nothing extra to get very easy install for both the speakers and wires. It also should have come with a wall box or Fram to mount the accessorie switch to. I dont regret buying this product for a little over a hundred bucks it's bluetooth picks up quickly no fussing but I'm sure there are better but I installed this in my bathroom. I'm currently doing a renovation so I thought hey why not. I will update this review after all the work is completed and I get to use them for a few months.

It was a reality easy install and the they sound great!!!

Power supply died after a week of use. Cheap product. Don’t waste your time. Now I have to spend all the uninstall time to return this. Don’t make the same mistake. Buy something quality. You can go buy another power supply but why when this should be working.

Good product , I bought to use with USB. The USB always gives the same music as there is NO shuffle / other option to automatically / manually change the music.

Very impressed with this setup, I admit I had a few doubts when purchasing due to price point etc but these are very impressive overall. I had an issue with the first amp received, contacted customer support and they had a replacement sent out the very next day for me. The only thing that would improve this would be cutting templates to mark out the speaker holes and amp panel hole, I had to use the package it instead.

Got it for a new TV, set it up to connect to the wall control panel via Bluetooth. If I want to use the ceiling speakers I walk into the room & push and hold the power/volume dial until it turns on, then the TV automatically connects when on. If I want to use the TV's speakers (e.g. when people sleeping above) then I just turn the panel power off. Can easily connect other devices like phone too. Positioned the speakers above the sofa, so great stereo sound. This is a great alternative to a bulky stereo receiver which requires wiring TV & speakers to it and a cumbersome remote control. Much simpler to use the Herdio. It was easier to wire speakers to the wall control panel than the TV in my situation. Great support too, I had an issue & they resolved it promptly.

I had this installed in my bathroom by a qualified engineer. The sound quality is clear and Bluetooth connection is easy. I had a small issue with the control panel which Herdio addressed immediately. Great product and great customer service 👍
