Not that easy to install
The enclosed instructions show a circular mounting plate with a hole in the middle for the cable. In reality you get a cross of 2 strips which effectively blocks the centre and means that you have to offset the lantern if your cable comes through a hole in the ceiling. Furthermore, the 2 strips are held together with a couple of screws that stand proud of the mounting so that it cannot sit flush with the ceiling.Also as has been mentioned elsewhere the label says that the lantern is IP23 NOT 43.

This looks lovely
This light looks lovely above our new door. The shape of the glass, which is not flat, makes the light look sparkly when on. The black is a classic look and the shape is lovely. It did take my husband a while to install as he said that the fittings were fiddly. People have noticed and commented on our new light.

Perfect for the porch. It is very well made and in half the price of similar lights from other retailers.

Latern Light Fitting
Arrived very promptly and seem good quality. Only slight complaint- they are a continental fitting for bulb. Naturally this is easily overcome.

The fitting kit was rubbish
The lamp itself was pretty good quality but the fitting brackets bore no resemblance to the ones in the instructions provided and were so bad I threw them away and screwed the lamp straight to the ceiling.
