E-BOGU Red Oak Suburi Heavy Training Sword (Oar Type)

If you want solid wooden type sword to train with get one of these. I got two for my son and I. We love 'em. They'll definitely ding up when striking things; because, they're made out of wood. So you need not care if they get dinged up.They're solid heavy wood. QUALITY!!! Kinda ashamed to have dinged ours up training, but there so fun.If you swing hard enough make sure not to accidentally decapitate anyone nearby. Wish I had one of these growing up. You should definitely be wearing very good protective Kendo gear or full-plate armor while training with these or it's gonna hurt.After we got these amazing wooden swords we practiced some moves we looked up on YouTube. After swinging for a while my kid was exhausted. Perfect. Dad approved!

This is perfect, exactly what I was looking for. Its weight and design are amazing, the gloss/shine makes it look phenomenal and it feels great to wield. There is even a little patch right at the top of the handle where your main hand holds that isn't polished to allow for better grip. It is long, much longer than I expected (6+ inches longer than a full 29" katana) but since it is essentially a stick, you can lay it in a corner instead of putting in in some fancy stand or holder.Overall, highly recommend for anyone wanting some strength training bokken or if you simply want something to bonk things (don't please, you could easily do real damage with this if you wanted).

(to seller ) It came with a scratch because of the carrier but packaging can be improved to avoid that.I didn't bother to return it just because of the scratch since I love it so much.It is sturdy, wood seems good quality too. Practice wise, I do not know how useful it would be to a professional practitioner but for me, I love practicing with it. It is also a great workout tool for your arm, shoulders, and core.Discovered some damage at the tip which was under the foam it came with, that is why I dropped my perfect review to 3 stars.

This is the nicest peice of wood I have ever bought haha it has a long handle and its super smooth and the shape of its percise. It weighs as much as a katana for sure and I wouldn’t want to be hit with it. Its a monster forsure if you dont have one I would consider adding it to your collection.

Using it everyday. Great training tool for iajutsu!
