Works great!!
Years ago my office supplied a small duplex Brother laser printer for home use. It has worked flawlessly, and they give me refilled cartridges, so I was not overly concerned about non-OEM toner cartridges. But, if you read all the data and opinions regarding OEM and generic color print cartridges on Amazon reviews for Brother printer cartridges, you can't help but be concerned about your purchase. The reviews on these cartridges are excellent, and there was the option to return. So far I replaced the black toner ( I mostly print B&W) and I am not disappointed on print quality. The cartridge was immediately recognized and setup by the printer (Brother MFC-L3770CDW). I have compared before and after printouts, I can't tell which is which! I have been printing to it for over two weeks and it is working flawlessly! The price is excellent -vs- OEM -- I would not hesitate to buy again.

Buy these instead of OEM - great for the bottom line of a home business
We bought a laser printer for our home business... never imagining the FIRST full set of toner cartridges cost as much as the printer itself! That is.... if we bought the "name brand" from the printer mfr. We bought one set, then quickly searched for alternatives, and came across these, and they are great... a fraction of the cost, the print quality is at least equal, and they operate just fine. (the new toner cartridges all have to have chips in them; the printer knows these aren't OEM, and doesn't seem to care; it prints just great). They seem to last at least as long as the OEM cartridges as well. We print about a ream a day of legal docs, so toner's a big expense, and print quality is imperative. This will be a frequent repurchase for us... key to our business success.

Works perfectly in Brother HL-L3270CDW!
*Update*Toner cartridges are still working perfectly! We print quite a bit too, both color and B&W. I’ve read some other reviews which state that their printer refuses to accept the cartridges saying “incompatible toner” or something to that effect. Always turn off automatic updates for the printer firmware! The manufacturers update the firmware periodically to block third party cartridges from working. I’ve had our auto update turned off from the day we purchased the printer and we’ve had no problems! These toner cartridges are an EXCELLENT value. It’s ridiculous how expensive toner costs nowadays. Printer manufacturers need to get off the razor and blades model of pricing toner and get with the times. It’s crazy that a new printer costs less than a full set of OEM toner refills. That being said, this True Image toner is amazing! A full set of colors, plus two black cartridges for less than one OEM Brother cartridge! They were very easy to install, and our printer recognized the toner as “Non-genuine” and showed the correct levels remaining. Test prints came out great. We are extremely satisfied with the print quality. Highly recommended!

it's a good alternative ink for TN-227
Glad we gave this a try and it does the job for printing when it comes for word documents for school and or signing documents after running out of ink third time months later. We do more black and white prints and very minor colored prints. Black and white prints, in our household we do print out a lot of documents and school work with minimal to no photo detail. Ink performs what it needed to do for our own basic purpose and saves us a lot of $$ in the long run. I tested it out for a full colored print, lines do appear just like any alternative ink we've tried in the past. It's not really meant for detailed image colored picture. It would be nice if the colored ink could handle and perform printing better as shown in colored picture posted it is almost perfect but not quite only 70% . You can see the transition as it changing to different and or other color. So black and white prints with minimal color print on paper it's 5 stars. Colored print if there is an option for rating by itself, I would give it a 3; that's why print quality in the end is only 4 stars when it comes down to (again) COLORED print quality. Is it the best bang for your buck?! Absolutely since kids use our printer more due to their school virtual class and also as mentioned it serves its purpose for our household.

Good so far! AND THEN NOPE!!!
Good so far. Will update if any issues arise.Updated: 3/2021Bought two sets. The first lasted a couple weeks. The second a week. Started getting a “put in cartridge” message even though there were cartridge in the machine. When I pulled out the cartridges, the powder WAS EVERYWHERE. Hopefully my printer isn’t damaged. :-/No return option. Live and learn.

UPDATED - replaced what was not very compatible
Update: I was contacted by the company after posting the review below, and got a far better response than when I contacted them via website. They shipped a new set of cartridges that do appear to be working. I am upgrading the review to 5 stars. The printer manufacturers want you to spend money on their cartridges so they change chips so that compatible replacements will not be detected by the printer. So I will keep an emergency Brother on hand, and do better at ordering in advance so that if there is a problem with compatible cartridges, I am not stuck without printing capability and have time to wait for a replacement. Thanks to True Image for standing behind their product.I needed to replace my black cartridge first. This comes with 2 black cartridges. I followed instructions and put in the replacement cartridge. The printer still showed it was low in black toner. I reached out to the website on the business card inside the box. They wanted an order number and a picture of the problem - not much help for something I am sure is a common problemI tried the second black cartridge. It did work. So buyer beware. If you are able to spend time trying to communicate with customer service, and you don't need the cartridge right away, this might be a good deal. Otherwise multiply the cost by two, as it appears about half works. (For that price, you might as well buy the Brother brand, and not worry about it.)

WARNING - WILL NOT WORK WITH BROTHER PRINTERS
When installed into a Brother MFC printer, the printer will display "incompatible toner cartridge". This is because Brother printers can detect (via a small chip on the left side of the toner cartridge) if it is an original Brother toner cartridge, or in this case, another branded one.As a background, when you connect your Brother MFC printer (all models - check the internet), the printer firmware is automatically updated. This firmware is constantly updated by Brother to ensure all of the aftermarket toner cartridges will not work as the after market companies are always trying to update their chips to remain compatible. So it was a cat and mouse excercise for a while but boy, did Brother win this round.I would have appreciated the vendor to recommend what firmware your printer would need to be for the toner to work, but nothing is mentioned.
