excellent tool,worked very good for me,its made well an using it I was able to lift the roofing nails an staples out of the plywood as well as the shingles.

This overall design works good except the bends are to extreme. When you get this delivered, take my advice and take 50 percent of the bends out.

The handle design of this type of roof ripper is the best I have used. It keeps me from leaning over all day and does not stress my back while using it. It is strong, did not bend under pressure from dbl layer tear off or plywood. Is not too heavy and a fair price.

The shovel is well built but does become a bit heavy after a few hours. Product works well for a single layer of shingles, but as I quickly learned, when a double layer of shingles exists, NO product is going to help you but patience and more patience. (Broke two other flat blade shovels as well)I would highly recommend this product if you know your only removing a single layer of shingles. It was still somewhat helpful removing the double layer but was much much slower than I had hoped. That was my fault for expecting more, with nails every 2 inches it was not the product's fault.For a single layer to remove I highly recommend using the Shingle Bully - for a double layer - I would say it still is somewhat helpful - but adjust your expectations.

Worked pretty good

A high quality tool will make a difficult job easier. Really well thought out in application and manufacturing execution. Serious tool for a dirty backbreaking task.

I am not a frequent reviewer of items on Amazon but I had to write something about this particular tool. When I first got it, I was excited because it felt very heavy and I thought I found a tool that would last but I was wrong. I bent the handle down within my first hour using it. I'm not the strongest guy in the world but I do work everyday and I was shocked to see this heavy contraption buckle so quickly. I won't ever invest in one again, I hope nobody else has the same experience I did with this tool.

Recently replaced the roof on our house. We used a flat shovel on the back half of the house. We ordered the shingle bully which arrived before doing the front half. Made a big difference. The front of the house has a porch which had 3 layers of shingles, while the rest of the roof had just one layer. The shovel worked ok on the single layer of shingles, but without the shingle bully we would still be taking off the old shingles. We are over 60 and will never have to remove shingles again, but the investment in the shingle bully was worth every penny. Wish we had gotten it before we did the back half of the house since it was easier than the shovel.
