Great way to personalize a cleaning routine
I purchased this book to follow Clean Mama’s Simply Clean book. Although I had a fairly good handle on the daily and weekly tasks from using my Clean Mama Planner (everything you need for a whole year of cleaning), I purchased the Simply Clean book for the 7 Day Kickstart and 28 Day Challenge so I could get fired up to encorporate the rotating and monthly tasks. I purchased this book to then better look at how best to adjust the system for my house and my lifestyle. Being retired, things can tend to slide since “there is always tomorrow”. This book helped me gather my thoughts about what was important to me, and it gave me the structure I needed to develop my own rituals. All of this allows me to use my Clean Mama Planner very efficiently. I am so glad I finally found a cleaning system that works for me!

This helps to keep me on track and more hopeful about getting it all done.
I hate cleaning. It's overwhelming, and you're never done. This book has been more helpful to me in trying to rein in the cleaning situation than any others (and I've looked at so many blogs, websites, and books on this subject). I checked it out of the library and liked it so much that I bought a used copy. She breaks it down into chewable amounts and isn't condescending. This book feels like a hand held out to help you instead of making you feel worse about it all. Do like I did and investigate it. You'll probably want a copy too if you're like me and need a good list/physical reminder to get you going.

Easy read and helpful in making cleaning easier.
I have enjoyed this book- it is not a hard read - I can pick it up and it is like having a conversation with someone. The tips are helpful - even if you already do some of them- it is a gentle reminder to do a little everyday to avoid things getting out of hand. It is much like having a home organizer/cleaner sitting with you going through your home.I also enjoy having all the recipes for the cleaners in one place.I didn’t expect it to be set up with tasks to complete as you go through the book - but found I liked that because it inspires “actions and plan” and not just “reading and not doing”. If that sounds appealing to you - then I think you would like this book.

Another helpful book of Becky's I will use for years
I love the Clean Mama books and blog! I reference them often. This book is no exception. I love how Becky goes though the process of shifting perspective and reflection about pain points and how to pair them with enjoyable activities. I've never thought of actually trying to improve the experience of things I don't like (unloading the dishwasher). I learned a lot of new things in this book and found it super helpful and encouraging. Thank you!

Great if Cleaning Stresses You Out
I'll preface this by saying that I already was a big fan of Clean Mama before getting this book. I've tried several other cleaning systems and most are so rigid and demanding that I get behind, get stressed, and give up. Clean Mama's systems are much more forgiving. If I have a busy day and just can't get to something, she tells me how to pick it back up later without feeling like I'm behind. This book builds on her earlier books by coming up with systems for your pain points by digging into why they are pain points to begin with. It's a lot more about finding why a task is bothersome or why something not being done gets to you, then figuring out a way to get that done without a hassle. She uses examples from her own family. She also lays out her cleaning schedule and how you slowly work your way to a clean home that doesn't involve day-long cleaning marathons...just a few chores made easier each day.I finished reading this book feeling like, "Yes...I can do this." And...I live in a house where it's really hard to get anyone to do much of anything when it comes to household chores. This book helped me feel more relaxed about getting to tasks and rethink how I did them to make them less of a pain.
