Work INCREDIBLY!
These are AMAZING! I bought them for the GRE as I am easily distracted and they blocked out noise completely!!! Highly recommend.

The best
These really are the best. They're really soft and easy to squish in. They aren't as long as most other earplugs, but they're still long enough that you can get them out of your ear. And they're just as good at blocking out sound as the best competitors.Did I mention that they're super-soft and comfortable compared to anything else? You can stop your search right now - you've found what you want with Mack's.

2nd best
I thought these were nice and soft. However, I thought they were ok in the way of cancelling noise. I tried two others (Dream Girl and Thermasoft) and I felt I couldn’t get any of them in my ears like the pictures described and all three stuck out further than my ear, so it was a bit uncomfortable. I tried each a few nights in a row in only the one ear facing up with the pillow buffering the rest of the noises (snoring husband and occasional airplanes) since I was nervous about damaging my eardrums (warning on package). I chose not to use any after trying them out, because I thought my ears felt like they needed to pop like on a plane ride in the morning. In order of what I thought worked best (all Mack’s):1. Thermasoft (though they weren’t the softest, they seemed to work the best) Muffled sounds, but could still hear some snoring. Didn’t hear the birds outside at 4:00 am in the morning.2. Ultrasoft (were soft, but didn’t work as well as above - heard more snoring)3. Dream Girl (didn’t do much at all for me)I’d like to learn more about how to fit them properly and how to avoid any damage before I’d try again.

Flesh colored plugs with carrying case.
The ear plugs are comfortable and flesh colored so they are not noticeable which is perfect for reenactment shooting where spectators are watching. I really like the carrying case too. The plugs are very soft and sometimes it takes a minute to reexpand after squishing them and placing them in your ears.

Pros and Cons
Pros -- Super soft, very comfortable, blends with many skin tones, cuts down noise, inexpensive. Really like the carrying case included.Cons -- Too soft? Fell out of my ears several times (went in well, but I may need the smaller size plugs).I may try the smaller ones (purple color, I believe?) to see if they fit better.

Don't waste your money!
Don't waste your money, buy a different brand. Super soft, so soft you ruin them when you twist to get secure in your ears. I've used a ton of earplugs. These are by far the worst, barely mask sound.

Soft & Work Well
I've been buying tan colored earplugs from an online earplug "super store" (as they call themselves) for many years, but a few months ago they sent 50 pairs of junk! They didn't roll tight for insertion. I called once and I emailed once...a no response. In any case, I just tried these similar earplugs from Mack's and they work great. Soft and effective. Perfect for vacuuming, mowing the lawn, and those occasional flights.
